9th Hole Comrie Golf Club, Coneyhill
The approach shot to the green is best aimed at the two tall firs behind the green. In dry conditions, take one club less than you think, as the apron slopes down and right.
8th Hole Comrie Golf Club, Johnnie's Corner
A straight drive down the middle is essential here, as trees on either side of the ridge encroach on the shot to the green. Aim for the right side of the green, as it slopes to the left.
2nd Hole Comrie Golf Club, Cauldron
Anywhere over the ridge gives a good approach to a slightly-raised green, well protected by bunkers at the front.

Old Photographs Kirriemuir Angus Scotland
Old photographs of Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland. Kirriemuir has a history of accused witches back in the 16th century. Many of the older buildings have a witches stone built in to ward off evil. it was an important centre of the jute trade. The playwright J.M. Barrie was born and buried here. Bon Scott of AC/DC was born in nearby Forfar and lived in Kirriemuir for a short time from 1947 until 1950 when his family emigrated to Australia. Foothills Forage & Grazing Association: Low-Stress Cattle Handleing Clinic
In September 2010 the Foothills Forage & Grazing Associaiton (FFGA) hosted Dlyan Biggs near Strathmore for a 2 day clinic on low-stress cattle handling. We spent most of the time working the yearlings in a pasture setting and this video was taken later on the second day as we worked the cattle through the chute. This clip demonstrates the technique of slowing an animal down by backing up in a straight line. You will see how Jim backs up to stop the animal rather than cutting in front of it to stop it from entering the chute.

Jan 2010paragliding top landing then TtB flight at Barry Hillfort near Alyth
Last location/flights of the day, we had started at The Knock, light breezes down in the snow covered field, a 'scratch' to fly up... and BLOWN Out on the hill (gusting to about 24kts!) back down 150ft to the field ... light breeze! So up around the back road to show Ian B some other sites (a couple of flights to the deep snow @ the road, then 10km SE to Barry hill for very nice (but 'cross') soaring on the north face of Barry Hill, a new site for Ian to fly.

Easter Road Hole Old Golf Course St Andrews Fife Scotland
Tour Scotland video shot on Easter Weekend of a golfer playing on the Road Hole on the Old Golf Course on visit to St Andrews, Fife. This one of the one of the world's most famous golf holes. Golfers using the back tees cannot see where their tee shots land; which is not unusual except that they must take aim over a corner of The Old Course Hotel. Other than rough, the main hazard in front of the green is a sand trap known as the Road Hole Bunker. Over the back of the green, hazards include a tarmac roadway, as well as an old stone wall. Both are in play; a wayward shot can lead a player to take their next stroke off the roadway or to hit the face of the wall and take their chances with the ensuing bounce.
