Cycling the Stuart O'Grady Bikeway - Virginia to Gawler
The Stuart O'Grady Bikeway is 23 kilometres of flat, paved shared path that follows the Northern Expressway from Viginia to Gawler, 20 kilometres north of Adelaide. It can be easily ridden from either end, but if you start from the Virginia end in the morning, you will probably face a steady head wind.

Cyclist dies in crash at Kingsford | Adelaide, South Australia | 7NEWS
A cyclist has died after being knocked from his bike in a collision on the Sturt Highway at Kingsford.
The 47-year-old man from Hallett Cove died at the scene.
A 26-year-old male driver is assisting police.

A flat ride starting in Gawler and finishing in Gawler.
After leaving Gawler, the ride briefly enters the Stuart O'Grady Bikeway (SOB) until the intersection with the Gawler-Two Wells Rd.
The ride exits the SOB and follows the Gawler-Two Wells Rd all the way to the township of Two Wells. After a brief stop in Two Wells, the route tracks along the Old Port Wakefield Rd, passing vineyards and market gardening properties, until Virginia is reached. theme
A left turn from the main street of Virginia onto Penfields Rd leads back to the SOB and the return leg to Gawler.
