Early morning walk starting off at the grand building of Nordiska Museet (the Nordic Museum) at the island Djurgården, cross the bridge and follow along the shoreline and most exclusive street in Stockholm, Strandvägen. A popular walk that is usually quite busy with locals as well as tourists. Passing by Berns where the famous red room from the August Strindberg novel from 1897 is located before reaching Stureplan and continuing a bit towards the park Humlegården.

Birger Jarlsgatan is one of the main streets in Stockholm. Along and around it there are imposing buildings form the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Some of Stockholm's more exclusive shops are located in Birger Jarlsgatan.
Stureplan squere is located at the intersection of Birger Jarlsgatan with Kungsgatan and Sturegatan.

Stureplan är ett torg i Stockholm innerstad i stadsdelen Östermalm, vid gränsen till Norrmalm. Vid torget möts Kungsgatan, Birger Jarlsgatan, Biblioteksgatan och Sturegatan.
På Stureplan återfinns Svampen, och i kvarteren runt Stureplan finns flera av Sveriges mest kända krogar; däribland Spy Bar, Hell's Kitchen, East och Sturecompagniet, varav den senare var scenen för Stureplansmorden 1994. Uttrycken brats och stekare förknippas med denna del av Stockholms uteliv. Vid Stureplan återfinns även Sturegallerian och hotell Scandic Anglais. Närområdet är känt för en koncentration av finansiellt inriktade företag.
