I heard about a water in Tasmania called the Styx River. I managed tag half a day onto a Hobart business trip to go looking for it. After trekking through bush and avoiding snakes, I came to one of the most beautiful rivers I've ever seen. The fish were small but perfectly formed. Just a magical place.
