EXPLORING SUBIACO & THE CITY | Vlog 33
This weekend, even though it was crummy weather, Daniel and I went to Subiaco to look in the small boutique style shops they had. We then went to Water Town (the old Harbour Town) to have a look in a few shops, the whole day we basically drove around to look at the different buildings and streets. That night we went to a friends house before going to a party. On Sunday we played a lot of COD, went to the shops and made food.

Travels in Southwest Australia
Take a fascinating journey with your guide, Robert Stephens, through most of the scenic regions of Southwest Australia. We start in Torndirrup National Park and witness the Gap and Natural Bridge. Then it is onto nearby Albany and Dogrock. Along the way we will visit Little Beach, the Pinnacles Desert, Lancelin, Leighton Beach, Fremantle, Rottnest Island, Yallingup, Canal Rocks, Margaret River, the Voyager Estate, Jewell Cave and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse.
Robert will take you birdwatching with the renowned expert, Peter Taylor, in the Pemberton area. During that morning, you will see the Diamond Fire Lookout Tree and meet a woman, Leslie Harrison, who rescues orphaned kangeroos. There is much more to see in this 26 minute film, shot in Jan. 2011.

Subiaco, Perth, Western Australia - Why immigrate to Perth?
Near the Perth CBD, just to the west of Kings Park, you'll find Subiaco. Named for the Benedictine monastery established there in 1851, it's now very chic: where the beautiful people eat in hip sidewalk cafes and shop for Versace; where you can buy a fantastic apartment with views across the botanic gardens; where you can pop out to the Saturday markets and come home laden with organic produce and deli treats.

Where beautiful people live
Want to invigorate your lifestyle? Enjoy all that Subiaco has to offer? Make your home more than just the 4 walls you live within and become part of this vibrant community. Life has never been so attractive.
Be wined, dined and entertained. Only minutes from your door step you will be spoiled for choice with an abundance of restaurants, cafes, bars and eateries. Entertainment is many and varied – from the street buskers of the new Subiaco Street Markets, to the regular shows at the Regal Theatre and sporting events and Subiaco Oval/Domain Stadium.
If Subiaco is not enough entertainment for you, a quick train ride will see you in Perth or Fremantle. Or why not take a short trip to Oxford Street, Leederville. Life anywhere else could not offer as much. De-stress, wind down and enjoy the Subiaco lifestyle.
This fabulous apartment offers:
• 109sqm of internal living space
• a huge NW facing balcony of 24m2
• 2 large bedrooms both in excess of 10m2
• 38sqm of open living space
• 25m pool and gymnasium
• Security
• Secure car bay
The flow from the open kitchen through the living area onto the large balcony creates a space to entertain as many guests as you like. Or just enjoy the wonderful spring sunsets from within your apartment.
Break out each morning or evening into the pool oasis for a quick kilometre in the pool or a quick work out in the gym. The pool oasis, and it really is an oasis you have to see, it also provides an inspiring place to relax and entertain.
Suburb Rental Yields within Subiaco stand at 4.2% (source REIWA). This apartment has been appraised at $550 per week producing an outstanding return against the market.
Conveniently located on the door step of the Perth CBD, Subiaco enjoys all the benefits of high transit public transport via the Fremantle – Perth train line and regular bus services. Working or studying in Perth, the Western Suburbs, Fremantle or Subiaco itself than this is a definite option.
Arcadia Court is positioned perfectly between Station, Hood and Roydhouse Streets giving easy access to Subi Centro, Rokeby Rd, the Perth Train Station, Subiaco Oval and St John of God Hospital. This location will mean that you can trade in the car for a better lifestyle.
Arcadia Court – More like hotel bungalows than city apartments. This is a must see! Contact me, David Briffa on 0412 342 111 or david.briffa@acton.com.au today!
