સુદામા ધામ પોરબંદર Sudama Temple | Tourist Places | About Porbandar
સુદામા મંદિર એ ગુજરાતનું એક આદરણીય સ્થળ છે. આ મંદિર સુદામાને સમર્પિત છે જે ભગવાન કૃષ્ણના બાળપણના મિત્ર હતા. આ મંદિરે હજારો ભક્તો ખાસ કરીને નવા પરણિત રાજસ્થાની ક્ષત્રિય યુગલો આશીર્વાદ લેવા મંદિરની મુલાકાત લે છે. પોરબંદરની મધ્યમાં સ્થિત છે, તે ભારતનું એક અપવાદરૂપ મંદિર છે જે ભગવાન કૃષ્ણના આ મહાન ભક્તને સમર્પિત છે.
સુદામા મંદિરનું નિર્માણ શહેરની મધ્યમાં 1902 અને 1907 માં કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. તે ગુજરાતમાં એક theતિહાસિક દૃષ્ટિએ મહત્વપૂર્ણ સ્થળો છે. ભંડોળના ઘટાડાથી મંદિરના નિર્માણમાં કેટલાક અંતરાયો આવ્યા હતા. પૈસા ઓછા હોવાથી દાન એકત્રિત કરીને અને ભંડોળ raiseભું કરવા માટે નાટકો ગોઠવીને ઉભા કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. બધા સમૃદ્ધ વેપારીઓએ ભંડોળનું યોગદાન આપ્યું જેનો ઉપયોગ મંદિરના નિર્માણમાં થઈ શકે છે. તેમ છતાં આ સ્થાપત્ય ખૂબ જ ભવ્ય નથી, પરંતુ તે પોરબંદરના એક સુંદર બાંધવામાં આવેલા મંદિરોમાંનું એક છે, જેની હજારો હજારો પ્રવાસીઓ અને ભક્તો દ્વારા મુલાકાત લેવામાં આવે છે. સફેદ આરસપહાણથી બનેલા આ મંદિરમાં મંદિરને શણગારેલા અસંખ્ય કોતરવામાં આવેલા થાંભલા છે, આ મંદિરમાં શિખર છે જે ભવ્ય આર્કિટેક્ચર અને કોતરણીથી સજ્જ છે. આ કોતરણીઓ થાંભલાઓ અને કમાનોની ઉપર પણ દેખાય છે જે આધારસ્તંભોને જોડે છે. આવા સ્થાપત્યથી આ મંદિર સુદામાના મંદિરને સમર્પિત છે જે સરળ માળખામાં બનાવવામાં આવ્યું છે.

Shree Hari Mandir Sandipani Ashram - Porbandar, Gujarat, India (Day & Night view)
Shri Hari Mandir is a famous and a well-known attraction in the city of Porbandar, Gujarat. It is a Gurukul known by the name of Sandipani Vidya Niketan. It was established in the year 1992 and aims at providing the Vedic knowledge of the Hindu rituals in the most ideal manner. It is a huge building and is built in the Rajasthani style of architecture and houses the idols of the different Hindu religious statues like Goddess Durga, Goddess Parvati, Lord Krishna, Lord Hanuman, and other.
Shri Hari Mandir aka Sandipani Vidya Niketan is the institution that teaches the Vedic knowledge. There are various students that have enrolled themselves and receive the Vedic knowledge about the different Hindu rituals. Just like a Buddhist monastery, this Gurukul serves as a home, school, and workplace for the students that are receiving the Vedic knowledge and the priests that are teaching them.
It is visited on a daily basis by the pilgrims and the footfall increases on all Hindu festivals.
Shri Hari Mandir is a Hindu pilgrimage site and an educational institution. There are certain rules that everyone needs to follow before visiting the place. No leather items, alcohol, ammo etc. are allowed inside this sacred place.
