RAINBOW NOODLES, Seafood BREAKFAST & Most Beautiful NIGHT MARKET in Sukhothai Thailand
My second day in Thailand was another full packed fun food day. First thing in the morning, I went to give food to the monks and ate some quick breakfast at a local morning market. After that, I went to go bike around the Sukhothai park then went to make some Buddha amulets. For lunch, I ate some rainbow noodles and then for some sweet sugar noodles. To end my night, I went to the most beautiful night market in Thailand.

Visiting Sukhothai Historical Park at Night
Most people only think about visiting Sukhothai Historical park during the day. I highly recommend you try to visit it at night when it is lit up it is beautiful
Even though the statues and ruins are lit up you might want to bring a torch with you. The lights are focused on the ruins and not the ground which is quite dark.
UNESCO World Heritage City, Sukhothai houses a vast number of historical sites and temple ruins. As the first capital of Siam, the Sukhothai Kingdom (1238 – 1438) was the cradle of Thai civilisation – the birthplace of Thai art, architecture and language. ‘Sukhothai’ means ‘the dawn of happiness’, and the kingdom did enjoy an extended period of peace and prosperity until it was annexed by the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Due to its location (about 427km north of Bangkok and sitting relatively in the middle of nowhere) Sukhothai sees a smaller number of visitors than its more popular counterpart Ayutthaya. Sukhothai’s historical sites, however, are by no means less splendid. Most historically significant temple ruins are housed inside the Sukhothai Historical Park and nearby Si Satchanalai Historical Park. Apart from visiting the historical sites, Sukhothai itself is a quiet rural city where you can still relish the charms of Thailand’s rustic lifestyle.

Sukhothai Thailand's INCREDIBLE! ancient City of Sukhothai part 2 Ultra 4K
Remains of the 13th- to 14th-century royal capital city of Sukhothai, with a palace & many temples.
The Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ruins of Sukhothai, literally Dawn of Happiness, capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom in the 13th and 14th centuries, in what is now Northern Thailand.
UNESCO World Heritage Site Sukhothai Historical Park covers the ruins of Sukhothai, the former capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom. Located around 350 km from Bangkok at around 4.5-hour drive or a 7-hour bus ride from Bangkok, Sukhothai is a must-see historical site when you visiting Thailand.
The best way to explore this huge historical site (it covers around 70 km2) is by Electric Tuk Tuk or you can rent a bicycle. Biking around the main sites of Sukhothai will transport you back in time to the golden era of Thailand as you visit spectacular ruins from a long forgotten time.
The park has just so much to see it includes moats, city gates, and Buddhist temples. Sukhothai Historical Park is situated in a really picturesque environment between small lakes, bridges and islands.
The most spectacular temple is Wat Mahathat and is the main temple. With so much history and so many picturesque sites, Sukhothai Historical Park should be on everyone’s to-do list.

안녕하세요, 슬로우차차입니다.
수코타이 여행기 1편으로, 터미널에서 숙소까지의 풍경과 수코타이 토요야시장 풍경입니다. (참고로 저는 2018년 6월 23일~25일, 수코타이에 머물렀습니다)
이 영상은 장황하고 지루해서 불면증에 효과적인 영상이라 생각됩니다. *^^*
그럼, 더운 여름밤 잠 못 이루는 분들에게 조금이나마 도움이 되었으면 좋겠습니다.
참고로 수코타이 위치는 방콕과 치앙마이 중간에 위치해 있고, 역사 도시로 유명합니다. 또한 유적지 가득한 올드시티와 뉴시티가 있구요.
여행기 2편에서는 바로 이 수코타이 역사공원(Historical Park)을 방문합니다.
그리고 이 역사 공원은 일주일에 단 하루, 토요일에만 야간 개장을 합니다. 그런데 수코타이 야시장도 마찬가지로 토요일에만 열립니다. 저는 똔커플의 의견을 존중해서 야시장을 방문했습니다. (숙소도 뉴시티) - 본영상이 바로 이 토요일 영상입니다.
혹시 수코타이를 방문하신다면,
뉴시티 보다는 올드시티에 머무실것을 추천드립니다. (역사공원이 올드시티에 있음)
