I had a GoPro attached to the top of my snorkel (but I didn't know that I could actually dive with my snorkel on because I'm a bit stupid, so these are just clips of me with my head looking down into the water).
This is literally just off the beach - Yonehara beach is one of the best places for snorkelling and for beginners especially (I've never snorkelled before) - it is beautiful and unspoiled and easy to see the beauty of nature without going far at all. Just don't touch the corals (or the fish)!

石垣島 川平湾小島外洋側と米原ビーチで撮影したシュノーケル＆素潜り映像です。潮の満ち引きが激しいので浅瀬では死滅した珊瑚が多いですが、100~150M沖に出ると大小様々な珊瑚の根があり魚が群れています。川平湾内では遊泳は禁止されていますので、カヤックなどで無人島の間を抜けて沖に出てシュノーケルするツアーがおすすめです。米原では右岸のリーフカレントに要注意。(2015年6月)

Swimming inside the Kabira bay is prohibited so I strongly recommend to join a local tour of sea kayak & snorkeling there.
At Yonehara, You should be care about leaf current at right bank of the beach.
