It's More Fun In Davao City
Welcome to SUL Orchids.
This is a 7-hectare orchid farm located on the outskirts of Davao City in Tugbok District. It was founded in 1998 by Salvacion Uy Leuneberger and has participated in national and international orchid shows in countries like the United States (Hawaii), Singapore and Thailand.
You can visit Sul Orchids just to purchase flowers or you can pay a P50.00 (per person) entrance fee to walk around their farm and see their orchids in a semi-natural habitat.
If you feel more relaxed in the midst of noise and do not appreciate plants, flowers or fresh air, this might not be the right tourist attraction for you. But if you have spent years living a busy life and spent too much time on the internet and in shopping malls, this might be the lucky break of relief and peace of mind that you need.
They grow a wide variety of orchids including:

Today while Lot and I were out on our walk, we stopped by a house that had a sign outside that said..Orchids For Sale. We meet the sweetest older lady who sells orchid flowers from her house. We bought some and took them home and started our own orchid flower tree.

Mindanao Orchids
Mindanao Orchids is the first of three pieces in Philippine Suite, one of Tapales' major works. The composer takes his inspiration from the ethnic dances of the southern island of Mindanao -- the second largest of the Philippine islands and home to the largest cultural minority in the Philippines -- the Muslims. They are known for their mysticism, royalty and beauty, which are evident in their music and dances. Accompanied by the agong and kulintang, Filipino Muslim dances are marked by intricate hand and arm movements along with shimmering costumes.
