Hidden Shinto Shrines in Osaka Japan
Shinto religion in Japan – small shrines in the city where you can pray and make your wishes. Osaka is a very busy city, but even in the rushing everydays people in Japan are looking for a minute of peace, prayer and good fortune. For this, they visit Shinto shrines even on the weekdays, during work, or on the way home, or maybe between lessons. In the western countries we don't have these kind of shrines, and shinto basically only exist in Japan.
It's present since old times, and it's mixed, hidden in the new, modern world. We can witness this duality, the old and the new things in Japan at many occasions. I don't really know any other country where the contrast is this strong.

You know those sushi-go-rounds in America? Well this in not one of them. This sushi is excellent. We got a sashimi plate. A mixed sushi plate and some Unagi (eel) rolls, my favorite. :)
And yes, Nigiri Chojiro Kanbe Sumiyoshi, is the actual name of the restaurant.
Kobe Japan is a great place for sushi because they have an excellent ocean port, so the fish is fresh. Also it's less crowded than Tokyo and Osaka.

An annual Japanese Shinto ceremony at Sumiyoshi-Taisha Kumata Shrine in Osaka, Japan.
We Japan had new Emperor on May 1st 2019.
So we had new imperial era “令和” (Reiwa). When I went to Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine on May 2ed people were caring the Mikoshi (Moving Shrine) for celebrating the new era and new emperor.

A nice day to go to the beach! I could enjoy a perfect view over Enoshima island not far from Kamakura city: about one hour ride from Tokyo. The best place to escape the city and feel on vacation for the day.

This is my Japan travel vlog from the time I went to Fukuoka, Japan.
I had to get a new visa to stay in Korea, but they don't give a tourist visa unless you've left the country. So, I left the country for the weekend and had a blast with my mom exploring Japan. We ate the infamous Fukuoka Ramen, saw shrines and gardens, not one, but two different live performances. All in all, it was a great trip!
