I went to Hiruzu town which is boasting of Japan's best sunflower.
When I went this time the season has already ended and the flowers of sunflowers are in a state like sparsely blooming.
As you go during the season you can see the beautiful yellow flowers of sunflowers blooming.
And you can play with the huge sunflower maze which both adults and children can enjoy.
In the neighborhood, there is also a park golf course so I think that it is good to exercise a little after having enjoyed the sunflower.
You can also relax in the hot spring after exercise as it is in Hokuru hot springs or road stations.
We sell a lot of souvenirs at the Hokuryu Road station, we can enjoy hotels and meals so I think that it is good to go and have a little time to relax.
日本一を誇るひまわりの里北竜町へ行ってきました。
今回行った時にはすでにシーズンが終わっていてひまわりの花はまばらに咲いている様な状況です。
シーズン中に行くと、綺麗なひまわりの黄色い花が咲き乱れている様子が見ることができます。
そして大人も子供も楽しめる巨大なひまわり迷路で、遊ぶこともできます。
近くには、パークゴルフ場もあるよなのでひまわりを楽しんだ後に少し運動してみるのも良いと思います。
北竜温泉か道の駅にありますので運動の後には温泉でリラックスすることもできます。
北竜の道の駅ではお土産がたくさん売っていたり、ホテルや食事も楽しめますので少し時間にゆとりをもって遊びに行くと良いと思います。
Hokkaido Travel Day 6 | Sunflower Field, Outdoor Onsen And Hot Waterfall
This is day 6 of living in a van in Japan traveling Hokkaido. Today we went from Yubetsu to Lake Kussharo and slept in the van at a closed camp ground parking lot. This was another beautiful day in Hokkaido with a red corral grass, a huge sunflower field, another free outdoor onsen and a hot waterfall!

I went to Hokkaido 's Road Station Sunflower North Dragon.
Here, there are hot springs and hotels with sourced springs, and you can eat as you are doing a restaurant.
I think that it is good to drive again after having entered a hot spring and refreshing the mood after a long distance drive.
Since selling gifts variously, I think that you can also enjoy shopping.
Since the area around the paddy field is paddy, I think that you can enjoy beautiful rural scenery from summer to autumn.
There is a famous place near the sunflower's huge maze, so please try it by all means.

ここでは、源泉かけ流しの温泉やホテルがあり、レストランをやっているので食事もとることができます。
長距離ドライブの後に、温泉に入って気分をリフレッシュさせてからまた運転すると良いと思います。
お土産は色々と売っていますので、買い物も楽しめると思います。
辺り一面が水田なので、夏から秋にかけてはきれいな田園風景を楽しめると思います。

Sounkaku Grand Hotel
Sounkyo is about 200km Northeast from Sapporo.
The hotel has carried on the concept of hospitality introduced by it's founder. The hotel offers a gracious reception and rooms that afford beautiful views of the Sounkyo Valley throughout the seasons.

Flower Fields and Endless Ice Cream in Furano HOKKAIDO Japan ???? ????????
In mid July we visited the beautiful flower fields in Furano, Japan. They were in full bloom! The island of Hokkaido is gorgeous in the summer time. We indulged and ate ALL the flavors of ice cream! Lavender, melon, cheese... It was a full day out in our RV, starting at Hinode Park, then visiting Farm Tomita, Furano Jam Garden, and Furano Cheese Factory.
What a wonderful way to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary!

本日のメーンイベントはグライダーですが、予約の時間が午後なので空いた午前中に150万本のひまわりを見に行くことにしました。幸いなことに天気は晴れ。ひまわりの里は、滝川から車で小一時間で行けます。さすがに一面のひまわりに圧倒されました。有料の迷路コースにチャレンジしましたが、道に迷って熱中症になりかけました。何とか脱出できてよかったです。驚いたのは、ひまわりの里は入園無料でした。観光用ではなく商用として栽培しているようです。

Biking across Japan: Shikoku, Honshu and Hokkaido
In April/May of 2019 I biked alone from Kagoshima (Kyushu) to Asahidake (Hokkaido), going through Shikoku and taking 3 ferries in total.
Shot on iPhone 7s: I've found the phone footage to lack expressiveness of color and light as compared to what I saw with my own eyes. Nonetheless, I left it as is without video filtering / enhancements.
I wasn't able to vlog in a interesting/meaningful way, but you can read more about the journey and my thoughts during these epic 30 days on my blog:
Rest Place Ashibetsu [Hokkaido Japan] 道の駅 芦別 有名なガタタンラーメンが食べられます
It is a station on the road in Ashibetsu.
There is also a restaurant that you can eat Gotatan Ramen, a specialty of Ashibetsu.
There are places that sell flowers, seedlings, etc. on the first floor, so I will sell it when it's time, so I think that if you try to lean, it's fun.
When I traveled a long distance, I think it's a good idea to take a break at the road station.
There is also a toilet and you may wish to relax while watching the beautiful sunflowers.
Ashibetsu hot spring is also located about 5-10 minutes from this station, so I think that it is good to relax tiredness slowly at the hot spring.

長距離ドライブをした時には、道の駅で少し休憩するのもいいと思います。
トイレもありますし、ひまわりの綺麗な景色を見ながらゆっくりするといいでしょう。
この道の駅から5-10分程度のところに、芦別温泉もありますので温泉でゆっくりと疲れを癒すのもいいと思います。

札幌から車で1時間ほど距離でキャンプ、ボート、カヌー、釣り、温泉など楽しむことができる。

I can enjoy camping, a boat, a canoe, fishing, a hot spring at distance by car from Sapporo for approximately one hour.
