Let's Go Sungai Tua Waterfall

A natural waterfall at Sungai Tua the road heading to Ulu Yum. With free open car park and entry is free. It is a place for picnic and camping. It is 14.5km distance from Batu Cave temple. There are no toilet facility. The concrete picnic table is not in good condition. Require plastic sheet or old newspaper to cover the table top. On the way to Sungai Tua you may notice few gated camping site there. Entrance and camping overnight fees are require. Suitable for family camping or corporate team building. I am unable to intro or show the camping site there as there require RM500 for doing any shooting video or capture photos or commercial purpose. I do not have that kind of budget as I do freely to share in Youtube. Gated camp site sure have basic facility like toilet, hall, BBQ stove, chalet and par park space.

In this episode, we have spent a night in one of the famous camping spot not too far from greater KL - Sungai Tua, Gombak.

Hutlista provides a small space for visitors to rent a place for camping on the riverside with a basic amenities such as bathroom, sink and power outlet.
.
What an amazing experience drinking coffee, hanging in hammock and eating all night long with the sound of nature especially the water from the river.
.

CAMPSITE REVIEW: Hutlista 2, Sg Tua, Ulu Yam

Last weekend kami decide untuk camping di area Klang Valley sahaja. So kami pilih untuk cuba camping di Hutlista 2, Sg Tua, Ulu Yam. Plan asal nak stay 1 malam sahaja, tapi sebab sampai pun dah lewat petang jadi macam tak berbaloi pula untuk balik esoknya. Anak-anak pun tak puas mandi dan ajak extend. So kami stay 2 malam, kami 1 khemah je yang bermalam disitu. Overall, tempatnya ok antara yang menarik:

⛺️ Harga sewa tapak berpatutan
⛺️ Tak jauh, dari rumah kami di Sg Buloh dalam 50 minit sahaja
⛺️ Sungai dia sesuai untuk kanak2, tak dalam dan air tidak deras
⛺️ Campsite ada penjaga
⛺️ Ada lampu di waktu malam, tapi tiada power point

Ada beberapa kekurangan:
⚠️ Sesekali agak bising kerana berdekatan dengan jalanraya
⚠️ Tandas kurang diselenggara dengan baik (Saya difahamkan, tandas masih dibawah pengurusan majlis daerah), tetapi akan ditambah baik dari masa ke semasa.

Our first experience camping at Sungai Congkak, Hulu Langat, Selangor. Complete with a tropical forest, bridges, wooden chalets, river for soaking and swimming. Most of the walkway is shaded, mossy carpets covering the ground. Great gateway from the city life.

Camping with a chance of drinking. A night with bonfire, good music and great friends.
