Singapore Nature Reserve- Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve Crocodile?
The Sungei Buloh wetland reserve Singapore is a less common travel destination to see the Singapore wildlife scene that is known to have crocodiles roaming around freely from time to time. I was traveling to singapore and was told this Sungei Bulow Singapore wetland reserve park is especially quiet on the weekend, and today I will try my luck to see if I run into any of their crocodiles as part of my nature walk checking out Singapore's biodiversity. (note: the water monitor lizard scared is part of the wild animals in singapore, something I never heard of before.....) (Btw Sungei Bulow Singapore is pronunced suu-naai bu-low)
Note: The Sungei Bulow wetland reserve crocodile was nowhere to be found when I was there

The Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve (Chinese: 双溪布洛湿地保护区, Malay: Kawasan Simpanan Alam Semulajadi Sungei Buloh) is a nature reserve in the northwest area of Singapore. It is the first wetlands reserve to be gazetted in Singapore (2002), and its global importance as a stop-over point for migratory birds was recognized by the inclusion of the reserve into the East Asian Australasian Shorebird Site Network. The reserve, with an area of 130 hectares, was listed as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003.[1] [wiki]

We went last week end to sungei buloh wetland reserve, its in kranji and quiet far in the city, we took car going there and took 30 mins to go there.
As we mentioned in our video they have a lot of animals but sorry guys we couldn’t find any animals there maybe the crocodiles but its a bit far to see it and only the butterfly we saw, but such a nice forest they have..

Wonderful Rain at the reserve. Watching the animals in the rain is beautiful. Red Shanks, Storks, Crocodile taking the oppotunity to drink some rain water, Monitior Lizard, Oriental Whip snake drinking water, milky stork taking flight by running on the water etc

We stood 10feet away from a saltwater crocodile while out exploring the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve. Don't worry, it was a sleeping juvenile and it was basking in the sun down a small slope off the main path.

The reserve, with an area of 130 hectares(about 1.3 km²) , was listed as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003. The Name Of Sungei Buloh has a meaning , Sungei means River while Buloh means Bamboo in malay language.

Hey friends! Who would have thought that Singapore is actually one of the most biodiverse cities in the world! ????
The Sungei Buloh Wetland is a great place to explore this diversity! It is in its own, an ecosystem of mudflats, tidal ponds, mangroves, and swamps. And because of this it's the primary site for migratory birds and other animals to call home; the mudskipper, crocodiles, water monitor and the list goes on! ????
*BTW: Think I might have mispronounced 'Sungei Buloh'...sorry about that! ????
