The island is famous for its beautiful beaches - especially beach of Šunj, good restaurants and unspoiled nature. There is also a small botanical garden in the town of Lopud, and the entire island is perfectly suited for children. Departures are possible from Cavtat, Plat, Mlini, Dubrovnik old port, port of Gruž and Lapad.

Lopud island - A REAL PARADISE IN THE ADRIATIC SEA

Lopud island is one of the southern Adriatic group of islands and is located approximately 5 km northwest from the port of Dubrovnik. East from Lopud is the Kolocep island, and to the west is the island of Sipan. On the western side of the island is homonymous town.

Let us briefly introduce Lopud. We note that it is extremely difficult to summaries all of the benefits here in words, but we hope that we can encourage you to feel the experience of heaven on earth on your own skin and that your eyes see the same thing.


The beauty and uniqueness of Lopud is inversely proportional to its size. Considering the area of 4.63 square kilometres, we can freely say that the beauty here is overpopulated. Circular bay beach with a layer of white sand and clear water are ideal invitations for every tourist. Lopud island has 11.5km of coastline, of which 1.20km are marvellous sandy beaches.

On our next to last stop in Croatia we stopped at Lopud for a few days. Finally a nice sandy beach where Fallyn played for hours! We are about ten miles from Dubrovnik where we will explore the beautiful walled city and provision Foggy to leave the country.

Lopud Love

Although I would like to keep it just to myself, this place is way too beautiful not to share with the rest of the world.

I like to call Lopud the small “big” island, rich in beautiful nature, unique beaches and fantastic people. It is without a doubt one of the best holiday destinations for kids. I also love that each time we return here, we are reunited with old friends and we always end up making new ones. This is our little paradise and I can’t wait to go back. Lopud love 4ever????????☀️
