CLIMBING TAGHIA MOROCCO 2019
6 hour drive to Zaouiat Ahansal , then a 2 hour hike to Taghia.
If you have a lot of equipment it may be helpful to hire donkeys for the hike from Zaouiat to Taghia. MOHAMMED Rezki, the owner of the Gite Atlas Taghia , will be able to arrange donkey hire.
many have enjoyed almost month long periods of uninterrupted sunshine, others had an occasional storm and others had frequent rain and storms. Most teams visit in April to May or September to October, avoiding the full blown summer. Being at around 2000-2800m altitude, the area remains comparatively cool relative to lower lying places - it may be possible to climb in summer.

2 Days Fes to desert Tour
Welcome to tripinmorocco.com ! We are pleased to offer cultural tours showcasing the very best of our magical country.
Desert Trip for 2 days /1 night starting in Fez and ending in Fez
Day 1: Fez - Ifrane - Midelt – Ziz Gorges - Erfoud - Rissani - Merzouga.
We will meet you at your riad at 7:00am, depart and transport (7 hours) over the Middle Atlas mountains through the cedar forests of Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco), Azrou, Midelt and the Ziz gorges towards Sahara, until the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon. After relaxing few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels waiting to take us for an unforgettable adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in a camp with drum music and supper in the middle of the Sahara. We go to the high dunes to see the sunset and will spend the night in nomad tents.
Day 2: Merzouga - Midelt - Ifrane - Fez.
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Fez. We will travel via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains as we depart the desert region to Fes. We will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fez.

We are excited to announce the first edition of Morocco Desert! A unique experience to celebrate life and music while dancing on the magical dunes of the Moroccan Desert ~

Morocco Desert 2018 is the fruition of our efforts as a team of artists, musicians, DJs, and sound and lighting engineers.
Our vision and hope is to create a space for individuals to express themselves through ecstatic dance, to transcend their ego, and transform through the vibrations of sound, but also to bring together people to celebrate life and music, and experience the magic of the Moroccan Desert.
We chose the wonderful dunes of Merzouga for the gorgeous landscape, but also because we find it to be the ultimate space to regenerate and transform. We will also be dancing under the light of the full moon, an auspicious time of the month to let go of what no longer serves us, to grow together as one, and to share the spirit of Peace and Love.
We see this festival rather as a family gathering to celebrate love, dance and sound, and to ignite the energy of union and oneness and we are therefore very happy and excited to announce the first edition of this gathering that we hope will only be the beginning of a long journey into the heart.

– This event will take place in the desert of Merzouga.
– The tickets are limited to 400
– There unfortunately won’t be any tickets at the gate, so please make the necessary arrangements to get your ticket upfront.
