Ishigaki - Sunset Beach
Our first morning waking up in Ishigaki. The boys and I head out to our backyard swimming pool for a quick swim at the beach in Ibaruma. Then we pack up the van and head over to Sunset Beach for a little snorkeling.
I learned a valuable lesson to turn off the touch screen when using the GoPro. Lost tons of great shots but thankfully learned that lesson before we hit the reef.

Ishigaki Island is the commercial hub of the Yaeyama Islands, in Japan’s southwestern Okinawa Prefecture. It's known for beaches and sites for snorkeling, diving and surfing. Within Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park lies the Shiraho Reef's rare blue coral. In the interior is Mt. Omoto and other peaks. In one word, it's beautiful!
