Cuando el sol se pone en el horizonte, la playa de Bucerías se cubre de hermosos colores resultando un espectáculo inolvidable.

Bucerías meaning place of divers is a small beach resort town located in the Mexican state of Nayarit on a stretch of that country's Pacific coast known as the Riviera Nayarit, between La Cruz de Huanacaxtle and Nuevo Vallarta. It is a typical town of the region with cobblestone streets, a main square, church, and many services for visiting foreigners. It has an uninterrupted beach that continues north and south for a total of more than 18 miles.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday over views.... Lots of walks, sunsets, working efficiently to get out in the sun sooner...being slammed into the ocean floor by waves.... Bucerias is beautiful - def recommend staying there.... Great place to walk around but the beach isn't as nice as where we are in Nuevo Vallarta! Good coffee though with great food and good prices for souevinirs!

Peurto Vallarta and the Riviera Nayarit, Mexico is famous for many things - beautiful narrow cobble stone street, Banderas Bay and the annual migration of the Humpback Whales, the location where Night of the Iguana was filmed and the unbelievable sunsets in the Pacific.

Some advice if traveling to Mexico for just a short amount of time - don't come over their busiest holiday weekends if you don't like crowds and crowds of people overtaking all the chair at the pool or on the beach!

An afternoon in Bucerias Mexico

Spent the afternoon browsing shops, eating and watching sunset on the beach in Bucerias Mexico. Bucerias is just north of Nuevo Vallarta, which is just north of Puerto Vallarta. Favorite spot for people from the Vidanta properties nearby.

Just off the beaten path down a driveway you will find an amazing jem of a restaurant called Meson Bay. We asked our cab driver for a good place to eat and he dropped us off here. All members of the staff were very friendly and the view of the beach and ocean were amazing.

Bucerias is a small town just north of Nuevo Vallarta and the Grand Luxxe, Grand Mayan, Grand Bliss. It has lots of little shops and kiosks, bars and restaurants. Most of the eateries face the beach and bay. Great place for sunset watching while having dinner.

Bucerias Beachfront Condo
