Auckland City airport transfers – Cheap, direct, frequent
SkyBus travels between Auckland Airport and Auckland City and stops near most major city hotels, hostels and transport hubs. No booking or reservation is required, just turn up and go.
SkyBus operates 24 hours per day 365 days per year with departures every 10 minutes during peak times. Tickets start at just $18 one way for a single Adult fare – up to 75% less than a standard taxi.
The SkyBus service picks up passengers enroute to the airport, alternating between two routes throughout the day – Route #01 via Mt Eden Rd and Route #05 via Dominion Rd. Please allow for 20 minutes intervals between services if you are catching the service from our designated stops on Mt Eden or Dominion Roads.
SkyBus tickets start at just $18 one way (or $17 online) for a single Adult fare – 75% less than a standard taxi – plus you can save on Adult and Family tickets when you buy online.
And don't forget – kids travel free with our Family fare (up to 3 children).

Welcome to Auckland! The super shuttle is a convenient way for a single traveler to get into the city...how long it takes depends on where the other passengers are going, but the price is good at NZD$33 booked in advance. The Sky City Hotel and Sky City Grand are in a fun, central location, just a 10-minute walk to the harbour, and lots of dining options at the hotel/nearby. The Grand is a bit nicer overall. If you are 2 travelers sharing a room with 2 beds, the Sky City Hotel has 2 double beds while the Grand has a double and a twin (but a bigger bath)...just something to consider.
Auckland Airport to Down Town
I arrived at the Airport, and then took a airport shuttle bus to Down Town Auckland.
It was pretty direct, and once it got to the city limits it stopped, and travelled through Queens Street. before terminating at Ferry terminal.
Great It was just there by the most central to any where in Down Town.

1988 Labour Weekend Highlights
As part of the celebrations marking 125 years of railways in New Zealand, a series of events were staged around the Christchurch area. Steam shuttles to Lyttelton and steam hauled specials to Timaru and Arthur's Pass were run, as was a parade of various locomotives and rolling stock. A vintage diesel trip to Springfield was also run with Dg and De locos, plus there is some footage of a test run for J1211 between Rolleston and Christchurch. Of course, much of what you see has vanished into history.

General Information
Marlene and Anthony McAnulty are the owners and operators of the world famous Eden Park Bed and Breakfast. Marlene is a Christchurch girl and Anthony is an Aucklander. The couple married in 1987 and have owned the property for 19 years. Although the idea of developing a Bed and Breakfast was not in the original plan. Marlene is a mother and an incredible cook.
Anthony is an adventurer. He has been a sailor with his own yacht, a commercial gardener with 3000 tomatoes under glasshouse conditions and created a passenger transportation service in 1984.
Marlene and Anthony are the original founders of the Supershuttle franchise within New Zealand. When this company was successfully sold in 1998, Anthony and Marlene went travelling and ended up in the USA driving Big Rigs coast to coast for 5 years.
Returning to New Zealand, they reopened the Bed and Breakfast and then New Zealand won the hosting rights to the Rugby World Cup 2011. The Eden Park Rugby Stadium is within eyesight of this property and is well situated to be of assistance to the many travellers that wish to see this amazing sporting spectacle. We advise rugby followers to make reservations now or you will miss out.
The couple have since opened another two businesses that compliment their accommodation property. Supercare4u.com is a Total Mobility Passenger Transportation Service that offers transportation to the disabled in vehicles that carry wheelchair hoists. Anthony uses this service to provide a Meet and Greet Airport Transfer service for guests arriving at Auckland Airport. The Auckland Ghost Tours are operated by Anthony and offer the authentic stories of the Macabre and Bizarre as you are led by the Ghost Walker on a Lantern-Lit walking Tour around the most Historic Streets in Auckland City.
