Welcome to Parkrun Main Beach on Australia’s Gold Coast. This was Australia’s first course commencing during April 2011. The course commences on concrete paths but quickly transfers onto gravel paths through coastal bushland. I must say this was one of the most fun courses I’ve run in a long time feeling like an old school cross country!

00:35 We’ll commence in Hollindale Park near the Southport Surf Club and head north passing Sheraton Grand Mirage. After approximately 800m we’ll commence a clockwise loop of gravel paths through Philip Park. The turn around point is slightly past half way and follows the coastline. We’ll rejoin the concrete path with about 1 kilometre remaining returning to our starting point.
25:00 We’ll will head out on the course again, then onto the beach before rejoining the course about 1 kilometre from the finish line.
Join us on your treadmill, stationary bicycle, stair climber, elliptical rider or even your home fitness circuit.

Proceed directly down Marlin Wharf (A Finger Wharf) from the Reef Fleet Terminal and turn left at the end. The Fastcat Departs half way down on your right. If the Vessel is not there you will probably be able to see it returning from Fitzroy island.
