Trigg Point Surf
Surfing Trigg Point Perth in Spring. Less surfers then because it's Great White shark season in Perth then too. A bit early for the Blue Hole to fill with sand but by mid summer it does making for surfing all the way from Trigg Point to join with the beach break at Trigg Beach.

It's a stunning morning here on Scarborough beach and I'm here nice and early. Why so early, because mornings are the best time for the surfing conditions. I'm joining Perth Go Surf at one of their lessons at Brighton Beach. The surf school has been operating here since it's founding by Local surfer about 7 years ago. It wasn't until years of juggling a full time job with part time surf coaching that Tom bomber Johnston decided to follow his passion and together with his Dad Andy took over Go Surf Perth back in 2015. Andy taught Tom to surf from a very young age, basically even before he could walk. So it's safe to say that a passion for surfing runs deep in this family. But surfing lessons are not just about riuding waves, you also learn more about ocean awareness, surf saftey and surfing technique. All the staff at Perth Go Surf are fully qualified with years of surfing experience so you will be getting the right instructions before getting out in the water. This is so much fun and anyone can have a go. I doesn't matter if you are an experienced surfer that wants to touch up on their skills or you have never touched a surfboard before. There are lessons available for all levels of experience. I absolutely love surfing, I have surfed since I can remember, grew up in Margaret River and my father taught me how to surf for a very young age, Tom said. The mission of Perth Go Surf is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of surfing. We have school holiday programs for the kids, which runs over 4 days and we also have a 5 day Go Grom's Surf Camp. The camp involves 1.5 hours of surfing, snacks and beach games. Tom Bomber Johnston is also involved with an organisation called Ocean Heroes which aims to enhance the lives of those living with Autism through active involvement in the sport of surfing. What an energetic and enthusiastic team, it's fair to say that you can see that they all love what they do. Go Surf is here to teach you to surf all year round. LEARNING HOW TO SURF | Surfing in Perth, Western Australia
It's kind of true, when travelling I often milk the Australian stereotype. Like; Yes of course! We all ride Kangaroos to school. And another one would be that I would say how good I am at surfing (mainly used to flirt with international ladies).
Drew didn't approve of me saying I am a surfer without actually getting out there in the cold. Pissing in my wetsuit to keep me warm and getting up on the board.
This is my attempt at doing an art that I know I've already mastered... kind of... not really :')

2012 Rip Curl GromSearch - Trigg Beach WA (www.surf-devil.com)
Perfect shoulder high waves and crisp offshore conditions greeted the record field of over 100 competitors at Trigg Beach in Western Australia for the third event of the Rip Curl GromSearch, presented by Telstra.
Jacob Willcox (Margaret River) and Cali McDonagh (Lennox Heads, NSW) were the standout performers, the pair took out the premier 16 and under divisions in beautiful summer-like conditions at Perth's Trigg Beach with 1-2 feet waves providing the perfect setting for the next generation of Australian grommets to strut their stuff.

Chill WA School Surfing Titles - 2012 State Final (www.surf-devil.com)
The Chill WA School Surfing Titles State Final was the conclusion to a two-week long state-wide search for WA's best school surfing talent, with Margaret River proving difficult to beat winning four out of eight divisions and taking out the title of Champion Surfing School for a record seventh consecutive year.
Trigg Beach transformed into a battlefield as 26 high schools from as far north as Kalbarri and as far south as Albany and everywhere in between converged for their chance to represent WA in the upcoming Australian Junior Titles to be held in Nubeena Beach, Tasmania in December.
