There has been quite some storm and rain tonight, the sea is still agitated. This is a view from the cliff of Kampen. The supervisor's flag is yellow so I would be allowed to bathe in the supervised area - but there can be no thought of that. I'm wrapped in multiple layers of clothing because the wind is very chilly.

Chillen statt surfen am 1. Wettkampftag des Windsurf World Cup Sylt 2013

Am 1. Tag des Wettkampfgeschehen konnten sich die Fahrer und die Zuschauer damit beschäftigen, dass Eventgelände und die Sideevents zu erkunden. Denn die geplanten Slalomfahrten konnten wegen des fehlenden Windes nicht stattfinden. So gaben die Fahrer gerne Autogrammstunden und die Zuschauer kamen auch auf ihre Kosten.

Hey :)

First of all, sorry about the windiness and you should probably be warned not to watch this video with headphones on :D. Soooo my first real day on the island of Sylt in the north of Germany. We went to Westerland where all the shops and restaurants are. Then went to the not so good tourist beach, according to Daniel. So we pretty much all got soaked because the tide came in so quick.
Daniel then took us to a private beach near to where he lives and there was no one there, it was so pretty. After that we went back to Daniels, he got attacked by his fat cat 'Johnny' and then they all fell asleep on the sofa. When they finally woke up we went for dinner and came back again for drinks and just hanging out with friends. Then there was an awesome thunderstorm and something very spooky happened....
