Reem Gallery Camberley
At the beginning of 2014, Zaid Alexander Badda (Gallery Director) had a burning desire to create a platform for emerging British and internationally recognised artists to be represented and showcased in Surrey Heath. By April 2014, Reem Fine Art opened its doors as the premier gallery space in Camberley dedicated to contemporary artworks. Later this would evolve into being known simply as Reem Gallery.
The gallery is situated near the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst at 52 Obelisk Way, Camberley which is on the borders of Berkshire and Hampshire; easily accessible from the London, Guildford, Reading and Windsor areas.
For a number of years prior to opening Reem Gallery, Zaid Alexander had successfully managed and curated exhibitions with some of the most prestigious and collectable contemporary artists on the international scene, from Academy award winners to Royal Portrait artists; sourcing highly sought after artworks for clientèle all over the world.
With an education that includes Sotheby's Institute of Art in London and years of art industry experience, Zaid Alexander is well equipped to assist clients who wish to explore and discuss topics such as art as an alternative investment and auction processes. He is a fervent supporter of the urban art movement and considered a specialist in this genre of contemporary artworks by peers and collectors. As such Zaid Alexander is able to source artworks directly from the legendary stencil pioneer Blek le Rat. He was also one of the first gallerists to spot the talents of British artist JJ Adams, who was the first artist to join the Reem Gallery portfolio in early 2014 and has since become one of Britain's most collectable and exciting emerging artists.

The For-Tunes - A band from the early '60's from Portsmouth
The For-Tunes were a band of teenagers (I was the guitar player) who played clubs and pubs in Portsmouth and all over Hampshire/Sussex/Wilts and Dorset during the early '60's. After a number of personnel changes they became 'The Rampant' in 1966 and disbanded in 1967. The soundtrack is a recording made in 1967 at a Surrey studio owned by Bob Potter (now the owner of Lakeside Country Club). Bass player (Fender Prescision) on this track was John Curtis who later went on to record and tour with Gary Moore. Sorry John, I forgot to put you on the video credit roll. I'm on guitar (Telecaster through a Fender Bassman) and my Brother Ken on Drums (Rogers). Ritchie Peters on lead vocal. The For-Tunes/Rampant had a PDR (pre death reunion) last year as can be seen in the colour images. Veronica Lake, the much teased girl singer with the band could not be located for the gathering. If you're out there Jo please get in touch also John as we would love to see you both at the next PDR.

The Rose and Thistle Frimley Green
We like to think The Rose and Thistle is much more than just a blimmin' great place to eat and drink in Frimley Green.
It's a relaxing retreat for all, offering an almost encyclopaedic range of world beers, wines and spirits alongside fresh, seasonal pub food dishes, and a good helping of our own inimitable charm.
Looking for a good pub that's close to Guildford Road, The Green or Farnborough? Here we are! The Rose and Thistle is also near the Royal Logistic Corps Museum and the Farnborough Air Show, making us ideal for a spot of lunch or dinner while out seeing the sights in Frimley Green.
