And also we went climbing to the Rocca Sbarua, which has a very nice routes.

Masche: - Le Streghe Del Piemonte - The Witches Of Piedmont - Ita/Eng
The Masche are the witches of Piedmont, the legends depict them as beautiful or old women with a terrifying appearance who have the power to turn into animals, unleash hail, pollute the waters and cast spells on people, creating filters of love and death combined with the herbs of the valleys. These legends hint at a collective experience of conflicts, certainties, anxieties and hopes and are supposed to be adequate strategies to manage negative situations and make sense of some unexpected situations. Persecuted by the Church for many centuries, this witch hunt led to the stake many women accused of worshipping the Devil. Follow us on this journey between the Susa Valley and Biella in Piedmont, in Italy, in the company of the writer and researcher Andrea Cogerino to discover the link that exists between the pre-Christian cults, the Masche and the megalithic sites. The video is dedicated to the memory of all those who fought for freedom and were victims of the Inquisition, so that our mistakes can help us to build a future of respect and tollerance.
Le Masche sono le Streghe del Piemonte, le leggende le raffigurano come donne bellissime o vecchie dall'aspetto terrificante che hanno il potere di assumere sembianze animali, scatenare la grandine, inquinare le acque e operare sulle persone fatture, creando filtri d'amore e morte combinati con le erbe delle valli. Tali leggende mascherano un vissuto collettivo di conflitti, certezze, angosce e speranze e si rivelano delle strategie adeguate per gestire situazioni negative e dare un senso ad alcune situazioni inaspettate. Perseguitate dalla Chiesa per molti decenni, tale caccia alle streghe condusse al rogo molte donne accusate di adorare il Demonio. Seguiteci in questo viaggio tra la Val di Susa e il Biellese con lo scrittore e ricercatore Andrea Cogerino per scoprire il legame che sussiste tra i culti pre-cristiani, le Masche e i siti megalitici.
Il video è dedicato alla memoria di tutti coloro che lottarono per la libertà e furono vittime dell'Inquisizione, affinché dagli errori commessi si possano porre le fondamenta per un avvenire di rispetto e tolleranza.
