Colombia: Real life Spiderman flies over streets of Bogota
Colombian street artist Freddy Duque swung 'spidey-style' from a highway bridge in northern Bogota on Thursday, in order to make some quick cash.
Duque performed daring pirouettes as he swung, suspended from a white cloth beneath a bridge as drivers watched from the traffic below.
SOT, Freddy Duque, Colombian Spiderman (Spanish): Hello my name is Freddy Duque and I am the Colombian Spiderman.
SOT, Freddy Duque, Colombian Spiderman (Spanish): Well, I've been doing the Spiderman for three years - in Medellin, when I've traveled and here in Bogota for six months - since November I've been here, but doing the Spiderman since February.
SOT, Freddy Duque, Colombian Spiderman (Spanish): Once in Popayan, I was traveling with a friend. A greeting for her, hello. I did the first act and they gave me 2,000 pesos ($0.67; €0.61) and the next they gave me 75,000 pesos ($25.10; €23) from a single car and I left with that.
SOT, Freddy Duque, Colombian Spiderman (Spanish): Google maps has helped me a lot to locate traffic lights where I can do the trick of the web. I look for bridges, big trees and then look for that car that goes by (Google Street View) and has served has worked well
SOT, Carlos Herrera (Pedestrian): There are no jobs. People are looking for ways to get the day, especially young people
