Going To Driving School in Japan! (Getting A Japanese Driver's License!)
The secret is out! I'm getting my full driver's license in Japan!
I’ve been going to Fukuoka Prefectural Driving School to get my license and it’s actually a lot of fun!? I don't know why I waited so long to get this done.
I’ve always had a fear of driving and I was really worried I’d never pass in Japanese... (Okay I haven’t technically taken any exams yet so I can’t say I haven’t failed yet but) I was actually super relieved to know they have English textbooks and the tests can be taken in English too.
The actual classes are all in Japanese though so I haven’t decided which language I’m going to take the tests in, but now that I’m actually going to the school I feel way more confident. Driving on the school course is so boring. I want to get out on the real roads. :o

Japan Game Shopping VOL. 0 - Mandai Suzuka 万代書店 鈴鹿店 - Obscure Japan
Here’s a very long walking tour of the giant Japanese video game/manga/toy store called Mandai 万代書店 鈴鹿店, which is in the city of Suzuka! I’ve been to another Mandai, but this was our first time at this one, so of course we had to give it the full walk around, enough to fill up my memory card! I decided not to edit anything out of this video to let you really get a feel for the whole store. The only place we didn’t really explore too much was the used clothing section.

Join me as I start the day with some Buddhist meditation at Kinpusenji Temple, I tried some crazy clear Japanese banana milk, followed by visiting the Ama hut & divers. We then visited Shima Marineland and closed up the day on the Spanish boat Kashikojima Espana for a trip around Ago Bay followed by an almost $400 dinner!

17th Safety Japan Instructor Competition 2016
Pada era 1960-an, angka kecelakaan di Jepang sangat tinggi. Hal ini mendorong pendiri Honda yakni Soichiro Honda, membuat fasilitas keselamatan berkendara. Sirkuit Suzuka dipilih menjadi pusat divisi safety driving/riding yang dinamai Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center selain menjadi arena balap internasional.
Bukan itu saja, keprihatinan akan keselamatan berkendara diwujudkan dalam Safety Japan Instructor Competition. Di mana tahun ini memasuki penyelenggaraan ke-17. “Karakter berkendara di setiap negara sangat berbeda. Honda Motor Jepang mempunyai visi ‘safety for everyone’, berharap agar kampanye keselamatan berkendara khususnya roda dua dapat disosialisasikan oleh peserta SJIC 2016 setelah kembali ke negara masing-masing,” jelas Yoichi Harada, General Manager Driving Safety Promotion Center, Honda Motor Co.Ltd.
Gelaran The 17th Safety Japan Intructor Competition (20-21/10) diikuti 10 negara. Yaitu Australia, China Taipe, India, Indonesia, Singapura, Thailand, Vietnam, Turki, Malaysia dan Jepang. Dari Indonesia, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) mengutus 3 instruktur andalnya mewakili 3 kelas, Muhammad Ady ‘Jotos’ Sucipto mengendarai NC750, I Gusti Agung Budi Dharma mengendarai CB400 dan Dimas Satria Kelana Putra mengendarai Honda Grom 125 cc.

A Filipino hotel staff was packing her stuff in the box with her big smile. And now, I am also using that box with my smile.
