We focus on the values of discipline, general etiquette, human values, aesthetic sense, an appreciation and love of nature and an understanding of the power of prayer etc.

Sadguru Shastriji Maharaj Shri Dharmajivandasji Swami pioneered the Gurukul Tradition for the first time ever in 1948 A.D., Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Rajkot.
Seeing Gurukul and Saints imparting Sanskrit and Religious education to young students on his pilgrimage on foot on the Himalayas, he realised the message of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan to preserve and propagate ‘Sadvidya’ all over the world. There he got inner inspiration to start some constructive and serviceful activities based on the broad and benevolent messages of Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayan. Coming back to Saurashtra he established Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul in the year of India’s independence i.e. in 1947-48 at Rajkot Gujarat (India).
The highly reputed poet and ideal teacher Shree Tribhuvanbhai Vyas gave encouragement and also devoted services from the beginning. Pujya Purani Swami Shree Premprakashdasji also gave valuable and appreciable contribution for the service activities of Gurukul.
With the exemplary conduct and guidance of Mahant Swami Shree Devkrishnadasji Swami, Gurukul has earned a respectful and unique place in the hearts of millions all over the world.

About the place:----
Poicha museum is the part of the pocha NilkanthDham Mandir,near kevadiya, Narmada district, Gujarat, India.
Poicha is the name of village which is situated at the bank of River Narmada. NilkanthDham Mandir is a Swaminarayan Mandir which is also at the bank of river Narmada in poicha.
Ticket:- 140₹ per person
Time:- 1 p.m to 7:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday
12 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. only on Sunday
Poicha museum also known as the sahajanand universe where u can see the all Mahabharata and Ramayana's sculpture (small statue) which make u feel a live that moment. Specialties of this museum is that the whole museum is made-up on the small hilly areas so can feel like a forest-cum-garden-cum- museum. Isn't it Incredible?? Like my channel IncredibleGujarat ????
There are Yamraj Tunnel like a narklok???? which is slightly scarry tunnel if you walk alone into the tunnel. if you go with the group than it convert into the fun...
Naukavihar museum is also interesting to watch. Ticket is 40₹ per person. It is a ⛵ boating.
Science and technology house, mirror House, horror house, aquarium, three elements show which is awesome, etc.... There are lots of things to do and watch and getting fun. It is enough for the summer vacation guys.

Narmada River Chanod Gujrat India
This city of temples is at the confluence of the Narmada, Orsang and Saraswati rivers, and is therefore considered highly sacred. A dip in the ghats here is seen as the most sacred of all the sites along the Narmada. Nilkanth Dham Swaminarayan Temple is an beautiful temple situated at Poicha,
near Rajpipla, in Narmada district. The temple is situated at bank of river Narmada.

Nilkanth Dham History:
Nilkanth Dham is one of the beautiful construction established on the lands of Poicha. It is dedicated to Lord Swamy Narayan. It is constructed at the river bank of the sacred river Narmada. The Dham has many sectors like the exhibition zone, the park zone, Kids Play zone, Food court and many zones. The Dham looks spectacular in the evenings especially the light show grabs the crowd. The Prashad (Food Pudding) is so delicious. The place quite beautiful and serene. The dham has the food court with many little food stalls with delicious and variety of foods, one can enjoy tasting many types of food varieties.

The Nilkanthdham Swaminarayan Temple is located in Poicha village near Rajpipla Narmada District in Gujarat. This temple was built in 2013 and built undertaken Shree Vadtal Swaminarayan temple. Poicha is Just 66 km. from Vadodara, Gujarat.
Nilkanth Dham is spread across 105 Acre, This Temple is dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan's one name Nilkanth Varni, you can find various idols for god & goddess in different avatars.
The main temple is surrounded by water, apart from Nilkanth Varni you can also take blessings of Shri Kasthbhanjan Hanumanji & Shri Bal Krishna.
During the night this temple looks like a Heaven due to its amazing lightings, Special attractions are evening Aarti of god Swaminarayan where you can see elephants are pulling the giant bell with the trunk, so you don't miss it. In 2015 they have built Sahajanand Universe in 23 Acre, Sahjanand Universe is the main attractions at Poicha where you can see A big Idol of Lord Swaminarayan with hight of 151 Ft. Sahjanand Universe is Spread over an area of 24 acres land. Poicha Vlog / Swaminarayan Temple
This video is about my visit to poicha. The name of the temple is Nilkanthdham Swaminarayan Temple near rajpipla in Narmada district. A must visit place for tourist in Gujarat. The main attraction is towards the evening (around 6pm) when you can see the chariot of god being pulled by his devotees led by an elephant. There is no entry ticket in Temple and it also have canteen facility.
