My name is Zamian Parsons and I absolutely love Victoria BC. It seems like more and more people are discovering the great lifestyle afforded here as the population has exploded in the last 20 years, and I feel so fortunate to have this amazing job of helping people with typically their largest asset. My father became a Realtor in 2001, and after being his assistant for a number of years, I earned my license in 2006 and haven't looked back.
I have met so many amazing people over the years and even though I could go on and on and on about all the awards I've won, I'd rather focus on the rewarding aspects of meeting awesome humans and helping them achieve their goals. If you are looking for an honest, hardworking and all around decent person, I would love to hear from you!
Have an awesome day :)

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is a nature reserve located in Saanich, British Columbia. The sanctuary includes a lake, adjacent marshy lowlands, and the Nature House, as well as a good part of the summit regions of Christmas Hill.
The Nature Sanctuary consists of two physically and ecologically distinct areas: the low wetland area surrounding Swan Lake, and the rocky Gary Oak-forested hilltop of Christmas Hill. The two areas are joined by a connecting corridor trail along the Nelthorpe Road allowance, crossing McKenzie Avenue at a pedestrian-controlled crosswalk. Portions of the corridor trail are on the roadside, and are identified by signs with a hiker symbol and arrow to indicate the direction.
The Nature Sanctuary land surrounding the lake covers 43.4 hectares (107 acres) in addition to the 9.4 hectare (23 acre) lake. In the winter flooding stage, the lake can cover up to 32.4 hectares (80 acres) of the low lying lands around the lake.

Exploring Swan Lake: Victoria BC
Whether you are an avid bird watcher, tourist, or Victoria resident, Swan Lake is a nice piece of solace within the city. With several kilometres of trail, an educational Nature House, or simply one of the many benches around the sanctuary; Swan Lake is a great place to relax and gain some perspective.
Conveniently accessible off several main roads, Swan Lake deserves a visit at least once for residents and visitors. If you really enjoyed your visit, be sure to make a small donation in the Nature House to keep the santuary alive.

Lochside Trail: Why You Should Hop on Bike Right Now
Go ahead... hop on a bike (or just put your walking shoes on). South Vancouver Island's Lochside Trail just got smoother with 1.7 kilometres of freshly paved pathway between Island View Road and Mount Newton X Road.
The Lochside Trail runs 29 kilometres from the Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary to the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, parallel to Patricia Bay Highway 17. By improving trails like this, we hope to encourage more people to leave their cars at home and practise their pedal power.
On a recent warm, sunny morning, we visited the newly paved trail (used to be gravel) to film cyclists, walkers and runners. Some people were biking to work, others were pedaling to the ferry for a Gulf Islands vacation, and more still were just enjoying the exercise.
Have a look for yourself. If you're in the area, why not hop on your bike and ride it for yourself, too?
