A Charming Town:
The Exeter community is a charming, small New England town located in the heart of New Hampshire’s seacoast region, just minutes from the beaches of Rye and Hampton, and about 20 minutes from the bustling, entertainment-rich historic City of Portsmouth. Located on a tidal basin, the Exeter River flows right through the town, offering beautiful views and walking paths. The river is a popular spot for kayakers and boaters.
Exeter is also home to Phillips Exeter Academy, which gives the town a distinctly collegiate air, with its ivy-covered brick classrooms, broad lawns and winding paths. The downtown area offers a wide range of services, from bookstores, coffee shops and restaurants, to gift, apparel and retail stores.
