Sweet Water Lake | Arambol | Goa

The beautiful sweet water lake at Arambol, Goa is surrounded by hills and there is a small strip of sand which separates the sea and this small lake.

This place is quite secluded and it doesn't get as busy as other tourist spots in Goa. Its a great place to relax and escape from the beating sun.

Paliem Sweet Water Lake is near Arambol beach. You need to walk for 15-20 mins through the beautiful Goan coastline to reach this place.

You need to travel through the small shopping lanes across the Main Arambol Beach, which is again a beautiful experience in itself. After you reach the 'kalacha beach' you have to make your way through rocky path and you land on a beautiful & secluded beach. Just backside towards the mountains you can locate a small and beautiful body of water known as Sweet Water Lake.

From the beach to the jungle! I capture Sweet Lake Beach (aka Kalacha) from sunrise to sunset along with a venture into the jungle to see the famous Banyan Tree, home to he local Baba.

Late March isn't the best time of year often with overcast skies and a lot of humidity... but you have to work with what you've got so I went with a heavenly edit to brighten up the images and make use of white light...

Sweet Lake near Arambol Beach in Goa

Sweet Lake near Arambol Beach - Just sit on the sand of Arambol beach and loose yourself in its captivating beauty. The sand is soft and white with little cottages on the red slopes, rocks in some places and the approach road lined with shacks offering souvenirs and clothes. At one end of it runs the Tiracol River and beyond the river rises the Tiracol Fort, now an interesting little hotel.

This beach is situated to north of Arambol beach.You have to walk 10 mins north of Arambol to reach this beach.

Longdrive from Arambol Beach to Querim Beach via Paliyem Village.

Short road trip recorded by Gopro Hero 5 Black. Tried to give back the feeling of a scooter joy ride by the driver's eyes. I truly love roaming in India by bikes, feeling the sun, wind, all the smells, curvy roads, scenery... This time with a 110cc Honda Dio Scooter.

the Hidden and Secret Kalacha beach or Paliem beach (near Arambol) in Goa

Kalacha beach is a hidden and secret beach in between Arambol and Keri beach. You cannot easily go from Arambol to Kalacha beach or from Kalacha to Keri beach because of mountains. Most interestingly there is a narrow risky route from Arambol to Sweet Water Lake and Kalacha beach through the Arambol Mountain. You have to literally explore the route through forests and mountains in order to reach the other side. When you reach the other side you will see not only Kalacha beach but also a beautiful sweet water lake. From sweet water lake a narrow climb goes to banyan tree baba. Our trekking on Arambol Mountain was a great adventure in our Goa trip. It was full of risk, adventure, scary feeling, uncertainty, beauty and satisfaction. In our case this was definitely one of the top 5 adventures in our Goa trip.

Hey Guys,

Welcome to another video from the Goa series.

This video is a continuation of the video in which I show you the path to the #hidden #fresh #water #lake in #Arambol #beach and the in-famous #banyan #tree #baba. This video was shot discreetly and hence the camera angle is a bit funny.

Just like other travelers I made my way to the Banyan Tree only to realize that the original baba was not there. I was unable to ascertain whether he has left temporarily or permanently. In his absence, however, the place was being managed by an English baba. People keep coming and going as they please here. Some come with offerings like fruits while others just bring their positive energy. The place is extremely inclusive and all are welcome to take baba's 'prasad'! If you don't know what I am taking about then you and me belong to the same boat. :-D

This is the 4th day of my GOA trip.

It was an amazing day well spent in Goa. I explored Arambol Beach, Querim Beach of North Goa. They are clean and long beach. Although I do not drink but I loved spending time there to get the best sunset Time-lapse video. I could not record the Timelapse video in Varkala and desperately wanted to record the best shot in GOA
