Święta Lipka - prezentacja organów
Święta Lipka – this famous Marian sanctuary Has been attracting pilgrims not only from Prussia and Warmia but also from far away regions of Poland Since the Middle Ages.
Święta Lipka – this is also historic monument of outstanding value listed as one of the most magnificent objects of late Baroque in Poland. The architectural complex consisting of a church, cloisters and a monastery has preserved rich and varied ornamentation in an almost unchanged state. The ornamentation consist of stone and wooden sculptures, wall and canvas paintings, goldsmiths’ and wood-carvers’ objects together with artistic blacksmith work and ironwork masterpieces in such abundance that can seldom be encountered anywhere. The picture is completed with the complex’s picturesque location at the bottom of valley surrounded by forests.
Święta Lipka has recently become a holiday resort as well. The forests and lakes attract more and more tourists. The visitors to the complex have thought why such a magnificent church was not built in a big city in a small village and why it was not built on hill so that it could be noticed from far away but it was erected down in a valley among wooded hills resulting in a fact that one can get the first glance of it from a close distance of less than half a kilometer. It is even more surprising when people hear that it was built at totally deserted place with its foundations set partly on bogs and that the village developed at it much later. The choice of such an untypical place for a church can be explained only by its unusual history.
ŚWIĘTA LIPKA - BAZYLIKA
Mirosława Romankiewicz ... Mirko.. przysiądź ... powspominaj... ŚWIĘTA LIPKA JEST TWOJA .... :)
ŚWIĘTA LIPKA - to jedno z najbardziej znanych w Polsce sanktuariów maryjnych. Świętolipska bazylika pw. Nawiedzenia Najświętszej Marii Panny wraz z krużgankami i klasztorem jest jednym z najważniejszych zabytków baroku w północnej Polsce. Początek kultu Matki Bożej w Świętej Lipce sięga pocz. XIV wieku. Krużganki i kaplice narożne powstały w latach 1694-1708, a dom zakonny 1695-1698. Po kasacji zakonu jezuitów i rozbiorach Polski ruch pątniczy zamarł, w 1932 powrócili do Świętej Lipki jezuici. Kościół ten, to trójnawowa bazylika. Organy posiadają 40 głosów i ruchome figurki. Zapraszam.

In this video I'm talking about visiting two places in Poland: a sanctuary in Święta Lipka (Holy Linden) and climbing sacred mountain Ślęża.
I'm also showing goodies that I brought from my trips :)
Sanctuary, Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, Poland / Sanktuarium w Kalwarii Zebrzydowskiej, Polska
Kalwaria Zebrzydowska park is a Mannerist architectural and park landscape complex and pilgrimage park, built in the 17th century as the Counter Reformation in the late 16th century led to prosperity in the creation of Calvaries in Catholic Europe. The park, located near the town of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, which took its name from the park, was added in 1999 to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.( )

Pozegnanie Ojczyzny Polonez - Johann Mosengel Organ At Blessed Virgin Mary in Święta Lipka

Swieta Lipka - Poland's Baroque masterpiece
Organ concerts take place every day at the Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Święta Lipka on the eighteenth-century organ, whose additional attraction are its moving figures, the Baroque organ, built in 1721, is adorned with figures of saints and angels animated by a special mechanism.
According to legend, the name Heiligelinde (Holy Linden tree) Święta Lipka - Holy Tillia(lime tree) - referred to a tree with a wooden statue of Mary under which miracles took place, though it may stem from a sacred grove of the Old Prussians.
A chapel at the site was first mentioned in a 1491 deed issued by Johann von Tie-in then Grand Master of the Teutonic Knights. At this time Heiligelinde was already a Pilgrimage site, with an inn. It was destroyed about 1525 during the Protestant Reformation during which the region became Lutheran.
Although the village lay in the protestant region of Masuria, the Roman Catholic faith was again approved in the East Prussia in 1605. The chapel was rebuilt by the Jesuits and consecrated in 1619 by the Warming Prince - Bishop Szymon Rudnicki and became a popular pilgrimage site among the Roman Catholic populace of the surrounding counties as well as the Lutheran Masurians. The nave of the present church was finished in 1693, the facade and the adjacent cloister added by 1730.
