Stockghyll Waterfalls, Ambleside, Lake District
HI guys,
Remember my trip to the Lakes where we visited the cave? this is part two from the day.
After lunch we went to Stockghyll Falls in Ambleside, as anybody else I love waterfalls. It was a beauty, but a hard one to photograph due to all the branches. But I reckon it will look amazing in summer with all the greenery around, one to definitely visit again. Easy access too. I am happy with the shots i got and used the Nisi Mobile Filter too, (this is the proto type), but i will be doing another video with the new final filter system soon.
I hope you enjoy this video guys!

Driving Cumbria: Ambleside to Wast Water
There is no audio in this video; the camera microphone recorded lots of wind noise. If you have never driven in Cumbria then this is what you can expect. Listen to your own music at the same time; your musical tastes are probably different to mine -)

A Day Out at Beatrix Potters Hill Top and Coniston Water, Lake District, Cumbria, UK - March 2019
A Day Out at Beatrix Potters Hill Top & Coniston Water, Lake District, Cumbria, March 2019
Beatrix Potter a focused driven woman left Hill Top to the National Trust for it to be shown to the public. This was Beatrix`s holiday home and has her original furniture, oil paintings, writing desks and lots of items not included in this video. The more money she made, she bought farms in the Lake District. She didn`t want the beautiful area spoilt, that`s why she left approx 4000 acres of land to the National Trust with instructions that the farmers all continue to graze Herdwick flocks when she died in 1943. Hill Top is very busy in the holiday season.
There are Black & White cows and Herwick Sheep grazing in this video.
Coniston Water is the 3rd largest Lake in the Lake District, 5 miles long and half a mile wide. The area has beautiful walks and scenery. In 1959 Sir Malcolm's son Donald Campbell set four successive records on the lake in Bluebird K7, a hydroplane. But, 4 January 1967, he achieved a top speed of over 320 miles per hour (515 km/h or 278 kn) in Bluebird K7, he lost control of Bluebird, and was killed instantly. This last attempt could not be counted as record-breaking.
The 2 swans in this video that are swimming on Coniston Water came and sat near my feet white I was taking this video. How beautiful is that?

Lake windermere 2way swim - Monster Swim
This a summary of my Lake Windermere 2 way swim Race which I undertook in 2009. The previous copy was suspended due to copyright issues (Elvis!) so have tried to amend with non copyright music.
This is a great swim and the fact it is run through the night makes it all the more challenging.

The epic new Lake District Peak to Pub Trail!
Does anything beat that feeling of walking off a big mountain at the end of a long day, then putting your feet up in a warm pub by a roaring fire with a cold drink and a plate of hot food? We certainly don’t think so, which is where the inspiration for our brand new 7-day Lake District Peak to Pub Trail came from.
Inside the front cover of the Spring 2019 issue of Trail magazine you'll find a beautiful fold-out map which details the epic 124km journey, the 35 peaks, the 7 pubs and the uncountable highlights you’ll discover along the way. And inside the same issue you'll find details of how to walk it...

The Lake District - England's Highlands
I Visit my Aussie Cousin Melissa in Manchester, she hires a car and we go for a drive out to the Lake District of England. This Historic area is now preserved for future generations to come because it is part of the National Trust. No New buildings or industries can take over. These rugged lands are home to the Herdwig Sheep a special animal that is extra hardy for living in the alpine conditions. We hike up a Mountain check out the video here: Hope you enjoy these little towns and beautiful scenery as much as we did.
