Junction Falls & Lake George Today - Kinnickinnic River, River Falls, WI
A view from the White Kinnickinnic Pathway today of Lake George.
The Junction Falls waterfall is buried below this very stretch of flat water under the Winter Street bridge created by the Upper Junction Falls Dam of the Kinnickinnic River.
Notice the Blue Heron standing in the middle of the lake. The water is only a few feet deep, completely silted in and cluttered with debris.
The restoration of the Kinnickinnic River through removal of the two remaining dams in River Falls will restore the Junction Falls waterfall right here, creating a spectacular view similar to what exists today from the Swinging Bridge over the South Fork of the Kinni.

River Falls, Wisconsin waterfall
Just under the swing bridge on the north side of Glen Park in River Falls, Wisconsin is a nice little waterfall. I have visited it previously quite a few times to photograph it but never spent the time to capture it in motion. The weather that morning had been the best it could have been for winter with the trees covered in frost. Unfortunately, the heat of the city kept the frost away from the falls and the surrounding area
This time lapse took 1872 images to create with 35+ hours of editing time. I increased the speed of the relaxing music to better match the faster paced editing and video.

Suspension Bridge to Another Planet! - Jay Cooke State Park
Join me as we take a walk through Jay Cooke State Park. Across the Suspension Bridge. Some may call it a very Scary Suspension bridge, though it is a very well built suspension bridge. others might say it's the best suspension bridge ever created. I don't know who those people are. But it reminded me of the Suspension Bridge in Indiana Jones.
Anyway, the most amazing suspension bridge in the world took us to another planet. A green planet. It was neat.
Watch the ever so elusive Tourist cross the scary bridge of suspension.

Glen Park waterfall timelapse River Falls WI.
I have visited this waterfall previously on many different occasions. It's located in River Falls, WI at Glen Park right under the swing bridge crossing the South Fork River. The last time I was here was in the winter when I first started out doing time lapse work where I met a really nice lady named Tami.
I arrived early in the morning with an almost perfect cloud cover. The sounds, smell and the feel of the falls were refreshing my senses; something I dearly needed. I spent most of the morning without seeing many people at the falls, another good thing. I tried something different this time by moving my myself paralell with the falls for series of shots, but always centering the frame in the same location.

Canadian Pacific Railroad Swing Bridge, LaCrosse Wi
This is a few views of the Canadian Pacific Railways Swing Bridge that is located on the Mississippi River at La Crosse Wisconsin.
In the 2 hours time that we were on location. We had caught three trains & several water vessels utilizing the bridge.
At the closing of the video. I made sort of a music video recapping the locomotives as they crossed the bridge. Music by: Lynyrd Skynyrd Railroad Song With that being said,.... Enjoy!
Song lyrics,
I jumped off a boxcar down around Tennessee
I was cold tired and dirty hungry as I could be
But I had my guitar and a hundred railroad songs
So I asked the policeman
Can I stay here long
He said Mr. Hobo you got to go now
We don't want you around
See I'm trying to build a respectable town
And we don't need a hobo like you hanging around
So I left that town, Lord with my guitar in my hand
Still cold and tired, kinda mad at the man
But this life that I chose to live, sometime's strange
See I'm trying to learn about the old music from ridin' the train
I'm a hobo I know, but that's the price I pay
Guess I'll write me another song while I'm on my way
Catch me another train and this is what I'll say
Mr Choo-choo train take me away
I'm goin' to ride this train Lord until I find out
What Jimmie Rogers and the Hag was all about
See I play this rock n roll and I think that's fine
But I want to go back a little further in time
I'm a hobo I know but that's the price I pay
Guess I'll write me another song while I'm on my way
Catch me a freight train and this is what I'll say
Mr Choo-choo train take me away
Swinging Bridge At Fall Creek Falls State Park
Swinging Bridge at Fall Creek Falls State Park. I have been crossing this swinging bridge since I was a little girl and love it. If you keep following the trail at the end of the bridge it will take you to the large Falls. It is a nice walk. and I would think hikers of all kinds could make it. It is up and down large hills
