Fewston is a village and civil parish in the Harrogate district of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated north of Otley and close to Swinsty and Fewston reservoirs.
The Church of St Michael and St Lawrence is the village church. The majority of the building was constructed in 1697, although the tower dates from the 14th century.[2]
History Fewston was an ancient parish in the Forest of Knaresborough in the West Riding of Yorkshire. It covered a wide area, and included the townships of Blubberhouses, Clifton with Norwood, Great Timble, and Thruscross.[3] All these places became separate civil parishes in 1866.[4] Fewston was transferred to the new county of North Yorkshire in 1974.

Landscape Photography - Something from nothing featuring a Blubberhouses Church! --FIXED--
Landscape Photography - Last week I stopped at a reservoir to take the dog for a walk and was blown away by how beautiful this quaint little church was. Luckily I had my camera gear in the boot of my car... I just had too.
Hopefully you'll agree that this just goes to prove that you can create nice Landscape Photography images from something and nothing.
I'm not religious in any way shape or form but this Church was just asking to be photographed.
The Church is called St Andrews, and is located in the village of Blubberhouses in the Washburn Valley in the borough of Harrogate in North Yorkshire, ENGLAND

Thruscross Reservoir Yorkshire
A morning filming on the drone at Thruscross Reservoir
07-12-13.¬11.52.menwith hill. buzzed by t6 du n then bank 180 due s.avi
was on my way to explore the menwith hill area of yorkshire near the conraversial american missile control and tracking station. objective - to observe aircraft near menwith hill area. until october 2007 this facility had only been used as a bugging/listening station, the largest of its kind in the world (deciphers 30% of europes emails, txt`s and phone calls checking for key words etc.).now it has been upgaded to a missile control and tracking station also. what with this change in its status being made with no voice from the democratic processes of parliment involved, just like the $40 billion that the US military was awarded towards weather mitigation in may 2007, this did not go through the senate or house of representatives. no democracy again.
many of the aircraft involved and observed in yorkshire spraying are unmarked, windowless and thus appear to be uav`s. where controlled from prob either satellite or menwith hill, always a back up at hand incase of guidance failiure. menwith hill has been upgraded just at the time when these aircraft appeared in the area en mass. is it coincidence. i dont think so. im woffling now...
when i visited the location in the video there was no aircraft, i heard it 30 sec after getting out my van and it was making a right loud buzz as it approched almost flat out. aiming for right above me.
this plane then did a 180` turn and headed back off south. (to where spaceportseven is).
i have seen, logged and photographed this same aircraft over spaceport 7 in close proximity to other aircraft acting suspicious.
to me this is a act which shows direct involvement between menwith hill and the aircraft in the triangle / gt manshead hill area of the pennines.
also as some of the aircraft have passed overhead my radio has picked up small fragments of american coded lingo , `com 5302` was heard once over the radio in a american accent.
My favourite places. My favourite music
Two of my favourite walks are Fewston & Thurscross reservoirs in the Yorkshire Dales. One of my favourite pieces of music is 'Lake Constance' by the disgustingly talented Mike Oldfield. I decided to put together a slideshow of some of my photos with this beautiful piece as a backdrop. It's not the most highly polished piece of video but I think it works well. Hope you enjoy it and any comments are welcome!
