The Hyde Park Barracks are at the southern end of Macquarie Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The barracks are located near the north-east corner of Hyde Park, opposite Queens Square and beside the Sydney Mint. Hyde Park Barracks were designed by the colonial architect Francis Greenway and built between 1818 and 1819[1]. It is managed by the Historic Houses Trust of New South Wales as a museum that is open to the public for a modest fee.
Constructed by convict labour in the 19th century, the Barracks is one of the most familiar works of the accomplished colonial England-born, Australian architect Francis Greenway. As the principal male convict barracks in New South Wales it provided lodgings for convicts working in government employment around Sydney until its closure in mid 1848.
It has had many occupants since then. It was an Immigration Depot for single female immigrants seeking work as domestic servants and awaiting family reunion from 1848 to 1886 and also a female asylum from 1862 to 1886. From 1887 to 1979 law courts and government offices were based at the Barracks.

Canberra Vacation Travel Guide | Expedia
Canberra – Purpose built as Australia’s capital city, Canberra is a 3-hour drive from both the snowy mountains and the beautiful beaches of New South Wales.
When ready, browse vacation packages to Canberra:
Canberra is a city which honors Australia’s past and shapes its future, yet #Canberra is far more than a political capital.
At the heart of Canberra’s creation story is Lake Burley Griffin. In 1911, the government launched an international design competition seeking a master plan for a brand new city. The victor, Chicago architect Walter Burley Griffin, won with a garden city design focused on a man-made lake which fits perfectly within the landscape. When, the nation’s Governor General stood in a dusty paddock in 1913 and announced the name of the new capital, he told the nation that the city had, lying before it, a splendid destiny.
Over 100 years later, that destiny has been fulfilled in a city that preserves the great chapters of Australia’s history and continues on to the next. #Vacation here to become a part of it, and keep the memories of your #visit for your own story.
For now, we hope you enjoy watching this #travel #guide as much as we enjoyed making it.

Traveling to Sydney soon? Feeling brave and adventurous? Head on to Q Station and try their extreme ghost tour.
I've read a few articles online about ghost tours in Sydney, but I didn't have the chance to try it the first time I went there last year. When I came back weeks ago, I made sure that I won't miss the chance. Special thanks to Jason for accompanying me on this extreme ghost tour.
A fair warning though, this is defo not for the faint-hearted.
But, if you ask me, I would love to do this tour again!

HAUNTED GLADESVILLE LUNITIC ASYLUM SYDNEY AUSTRALIA
my passion in life is to try and understand the paranormal, as I am a psychic with gifts that know only the truth and an empath so I feel energys, emotions and feel living things as wells energy, from plants to humans emotions and read there energy , my hole life.
I didnt know why I was struggling with my emotions' well the reason why was they wern't mine most of the time, feeling happy and going into a room with depressed and angry people then I would pick up that emotion; well I now have learned through 4 years of study and practice to be protected and keep my spirit guides with me all the time, I am safe now.
I am safe to investigate these haunted locations' in the past I didnt know how to use arch angel micheal and Gods divine white light to put a bubble of protection around my energy, now I do, I can read the energy with out being consumed and becoming it, a spirit or another human.
I am here in this video with no camera light I am sorry, at gladesville very haunted asylum and this place if you do the research you'll know it was a place of agony , torture and rapes, murder, abuse and everything inbetween, I learned it was open in 1838 and closed in 1997. well there are also over 1300 humans buried right under and around this lunitic asylum.
I walked around and as soon as I was there' getting out I felt spirits telling me thank you for noticing us; and coming here .
I was welcomed but felt my skin getting goose bumps and being surrounded by many spirits. that dont know they are free.
I helped some cross over so that was nice. I felt happy going around and just feeling and seeing this old building and thanking god I was not one getting shock treatment with no anasthetic being heald down, raped and tormented by the doctors and nurses there at the time.
Please forgive me, I had no light but next video I will, so please subscribe and help me make more sexy adventures with you, coming to support me.
I do not fake anything like others do, I hate that stuff if I feel somthing or see anything its recorded or I say it so join me for some fun and authentic
videos in Australia.
Thank you.
Thanks to music background chris collins com. and youtube free sounds.
Leura Gardens Festival
The Leura Gardens Festival is a registered charity, the objective of which is to provide funds for medical equipment and patient care at the Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial Hospital.
Management of the Festival is in the hands of a voluntary committee currently chaired by Mr Brooke Broughton and supported during the Festival by around 400 volunteers from the local community.
The Festival was founded in 1965 when four gardens were opened in October and $900 was raised. Over the following 21 years the number of gardens participating increased and the Festival was extended to nine days, covering two weekends and the intervening weekdays. Additional attractions are now also offered to visitors, including art in the gardens and music in the gardens.
The Upper Blue Mountains in the spring is a feast of new growth, masses of flowers, gorgeous bulbs and an amazing variety of cold climate plants including wonderful deciduous trees, which will just be coming into their full glory.

TYM The Series - Haunted Tales of Burnima Homestead
In this exciting episode, Tim investigates one of Australia’s most haunted buildings; Burnima Homestead, near the New South Wales township of Bombala, in the Australian Alps region.
Built for land owner Henry Tollemache Edwards at the turn of the 20th Century, the 32-room Victorian style mansion was once considered the nation’s Governor-General’s Residence as Bombala lead the charge to become the site of the national capital.
Exploring the mansion’s incredible period décor and setting, Tim is guided through the homestead’s rich history by Owner Steve Rickett.
Inevitably, the story turns to the tragic and ghostly nature of the property, with a look at the spirits that now roam its hallways and gardens. This includes sightings of Henry’s eldest daughter, Ms Edith Edwards, and a former servant whose cold-blooded murder went unsolved with the body believed to be hidden in a former well beneath the residence.
Join Tim the Yowie Man as he returns Burnima Homestead to the screen; but keep the light on – for not everything is always as it seems.

The Leura Gardens Festival Inc. with the support of the Blue Mountains District Anzac Memorial Hospital, invites applications from Blue Mountains based, health-related registered charities, for consideration of one-off funding for small projects.
Ten wonderful Leura gardens are taking part this year – two totally new to the festival, two returning after a break and six magical old favourites. And, unlike last year, the majority of them are within reasonable walking distance of each other, so you may be able to visit more gardens in the time you have available.
