This was taken using the default settings in the P900 for a Star trail time lapse.
I was located in Sydney and am facing South. This direction can be verified as at the beginning of the video you clearly see the Southern Cross and Pointers at the top of the screen.

We visited the Sydney observatory on observatory hill to do some star gazing and listen to some astronomy talks. Definitely recommend this as a great city based activity. Costs less than twenty dollars and keeps you busy for about two hours.

Did some location scouting and created some B-Roll for an upcoming video...but it looked cool, so I thought I'd assemble and publish some of it. Always fun to play tourist in your own city. Video was shot in 4K 30fps on the DJI Osmo Pocket, and stills were taken by the Sony Cybershot HX99. Tripod was the Manfrotto compact with ball head.

Star trail & Time lapse 2015 Northern vs Southern Hemisphere (celestial Sphere /LSC Cell Earth)
Time-lapse and star trail video's compiled into a movie - each clip contains around 500 stills rendered using LightRoom and StarStax. The images were taken in summer on the Island of Guernsey UK for the Northern Hemisphere, and the Warrumbungle Ranges near Siding Springs Australia for the Southern Hemisphere.
