60 minutes of Woodland Ambiance (Nature Sounds Series #4) Trickling Stream & Birds Sounds
Audio available on iTunes:
CDBaby:
Enjoy 60 minutes of relaxing, calming HD sights and sounds of this natural woodland scene and its ambience recorded live on site and which includes the sounds of a trickling stream and various birds native to the area. As the title suggests, this was filmed during one Spring morning in May, 2012 in the lush woodlands of Pennsylvania. It's one of my favorite places to visit and most of my nature videos are recorded here. You'll hear quite a decent variety of bird songs and bird calls such as a crow, Towhee, American Robin and more.
I wanted to capture the natural beauty and serenity of this woodland in the early morning and share it with you, with the hopes that it will bring you the same beauty, relaxation, peace and even rejuvenation that it brought me. It's my belief that moments like these should be shared, enjoyed and made accessible to everyone.

A Quick Trip to Lindsay, Ontario | Exploring Kawartha Lakes
In the Kawartha Lakes region of Southeastern Ontario is where you'll find the beautiful small town of Lindsay.

This town is just 45 minutes away from Peterborough and it's a great place to visit if you're looking to explore a typical historic Ontario town.
There really isn't that much to do in Lindsay, especially for tourists.
Apart from exploring the beautiful old town area and admiring all of the architecture there's also an old burnt down mill at the edge of town. This is the most popular landmark in the town and a fun place to check out.
Just like with many other small towns in this area, people from Lindsay claim that it's one of the most beautiful towns in Ontario.
If you're planning a visit to Lindsay I recommend parking on the main street and simply walking around to see what you can find on your own.
During the summer the town can get quite busy with all of the local cottage-goers. During the winter it’s a lot quieter and can look beautiful in the snow.

How to Set Up a Dome Tent
Watch more Camping Equipment & Tips videos:
Dome tents offer more head room than other styles and are great at withstanding wind. And setting one up is a breeze.
Step 1: Lay down the ground tarp
Find a clear, flat area to pitch your tent. Remove any rocks and debris, and then lay down the ground tarp.
Step 2: Unfold the tent
Unfold the tent on top of the ground tarp, with the door facing in the desired direction. Make sure all zippers are closed, except the door zipper. Set aside the rain fly.
Step 3: Assemble the poles
Assemble the poles according to instructions. In many cases, you can just shake the pole sections into place.
Step 4: Insert the poles into the appropriate sleeves
Push the poles through the fabric sleeves, taking care not to have the poles separate.
Step 5: Insert one pole into its pockets
Take one of the poles and place it into a corner pocket. Insert the other end of the pole into the pocket on the opposite corner of the tent. Repeat with the second pole. You may need another person to help with this.
Tip
The two poles should cross, forming an 'X' in the center of the tent.
Step 6: Set up the rain fly
If rain is a possibility, set up the rain fly by pushing its pole into its fabric sleeve. Place the ends into the center pockets on the underside of the rain fly. Attach the fly to the pole with the ties provided.
Step 7: Check your ground tarp
Check your ground tarp. If it extends beyond the tent, roll the excess tarp under the tent so water doesn’t pool if it rains.
Step 8: Secure the tent
Secure the tent by staking down the sides wherever you find stake holders.
Did You Know?
The lightest tent available to consumers is the Laser Photon from Terra Nova, which weighs less than 28 ounces.

Update About Norwegian Bliss Onboard Fire and Panama Canal Transit!
Update About Norwegian Bliss Onboard Fire and Panama Canal Transit! The Norwegian Bliss had an onboard fire in it's incinerator room but thankfully the fire was contained to some debris around the incinerator and was quickly put out. It took firefighters about 15 mins to fully douse the fire and then the crew had to contend with the smoke form the fire. No other part of the ship was affected by the incident. Today May 14 2018 the Norwegian Bliss is making her way through the Panama Canal as the largest cruise ship ever to transit the canal. The Canal was widened recently and there will be 20 ships passing throught the canal that could not have done so in previous years.
