Since I am a composer, and also a Canadian, I thought it would be a cool idea to make a symphonic arrangement of the national anthem. So here's my take on the tune by Calixa Lavallée. I hope I didn't ruin it. Enjoy everybody.

Royal Canadian Sketches Movements II & III - Autumn Light and Vista by Ralph Ford. Performed by the Illinois Association of Christian Schools All-State Band directed by Dr. Dan Turner. Autumn Light has the brass blowing into their instruments to make the sound of the wind, a lovely flute solo and some instrumentalists singing ah's at the end.

Allison Lupton, Shane Cook, Craig Werth, Tannis Slimmon and Jude Vadala with the Stratford Symphony Orchestra, directed by Daniel Bartholomew-Poyser. Over The Ocean to Canada was written by Allison after a memorable visit to Pier 21, the last operating immigration shed (now museum) in Halifax, N.S., Canada.
