Symphony of Lights Hong Kong in 3 Minutes (4K)
The Symphony of Lights in Kowloon was one foe highlights of our Hong Kong night tour. We walked over from the Harbour City area where the tour bus dropped us off and had a nice Peking Duck dinner at Peking Garden restaurant ( ). We were then lead by our tour guide to the Kowloon Public Pier where it was super-crowded, so be sure to get there early for the best unobstructed views!
Note that the video is sped up at 3X speed for you to enjoy the beautiful laser light show over Victoria Harbour at a quicker pace.

So we already saw the Symphony of Lights Show once before when we took a tour of the harbor.
We just finished our bus tour and we've been let off at the Avenue of the Stars, so we're going to grab a spot and watch the show from the land.
The Avenue of stars features many special statues. None more iconic than the Bruce Lee one. Who is Bruce Lee? I don't think I've ever seen a film of his.
As you can see there is a huge audience here all lined up waiting to see a Symphony of Lights show.
The world's longest running light and laser show.
Music playing and crowd cheering.
Music, cheering, and clapping.
Rock music performance.
Yeah! Woo Hoo!

A Symphony of Lights, Hong Kong 2018
AIM was recently awarded the prestigious role of re-designing the iconic “A SYMPHONY OF LIGHTS” nightly show that is known worldwide as Hong Kong’s biggest tourist attraction. While the show has been in existence for 12 years, the need for a complete overhaul was very much overdue.
AIM has proudly transformed the Hong Kong skyline and rejuvenated what was a tired attraction into what is once again a world-leading spectacle. AIM has the privilege of evolving the show over the next three years, with the intention of significantly growing the show’s footprint beyond its (at present) World Record scale.
Every night, 46 buildings across both sides of Victoria Harbour unite for 10 minutes in a powerful spectacular that synchronises a myriad of lights, lasers and LED screens that merge into a single canvas.
AIM navigated through the complex logistical challenges that came with creating such an ambitious canvas and as a consequence has built an infrastructure that can now take this show into the future.
In addition to the technical and visual production, AIM composed and produced an original symphony that brought together more than 100 musicians to create an epic soundtrack worthy of a canvas of this scale. AIM engaged the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for the principle recording of this soundtrack.
The revitalisation of this iconic show has spurred a new momentum amongst the non-contributing buildings to join and contribute to the show. We are very excited at the potential this show can reach and our role in helping Hong Kong build upon its vibrant image.
Chinese Junk boat ride at night during a A Symphony of Lights light & laser show in Hong Kong China
Chinese Junk boat ride at night during a A Symphony of Lights light & laser show in Hong Kong, China. There are a few cities that I have visited that offer as many attractions at night as in Hong Kong. Off of the top of my head I can only think of Singapore, Seoul and Shanghai as others that can compete. Having crossed from Kowloon to Hong Kong Island numerous times - by Star Ferry - during the day, we jumped at the opportunity to take a night cruise around the harbor at night. Boarding a Junk Boat at night offered a more intimate setting to witness the Hong Kong skyline and a Symphony of Lights performance and laser show.

With cocktail in hand, we tried our best to take it all in. It is moments like these where we have to pinch ourselves as we're reminded how lucky we are to be traveling the world.
Well, we made it to Hong Kong and tonight we're going to be taking a fun tour around the harbor where we're going to see some amazing views of the Hong Kong skyline.
I've got my glass of wine. White wine and I'm ready to enjoy the views.
Every night here in Hong Kong there is a Symphony of Lights show that starts at eight o'clock and it's really spectacular. All of the buildings light up and there is these lasers that are shooting off and music. It's not to be missed.
We had a great time on the Aqua Luna. It was awesome to see all of the different sights and the buildings all lit up with the light show and we got to enjoy that with a nice glass of wine.
It was my first time in Hong Kong and I thought the views were unbeatable so I definitely recommend it if you're in the city.

new version of A Symphony of Lights & Winter version of Hong Kong Pulse Light Show unveiled by HKTB
Two spectacular light shows over Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour -- the new version of the internationally acclaimed nightly multi-media light show A Symphony of Light and the winter version of the Hong Kong Pulse Light Show -- unveiled on 1st December 2017. The two world-class shows, best viewed from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, will brighten up Hong Kong's Christmas with dynamic lighting effects and the illusion of an icy atmosphere at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
The new version of A Symphony of Lights features dynamic rays of light sent out in rhythm from 40 buildings and locations on both sides of the Victoria Harbour. The new show incorporates a variety of exciting lighting effects such as coloured searchlights, lasers, and all-new beam lights sent out like a special fan-shaped lighting effect from the roof of the Central Government Offices and the Revenue Tower. Ten LED panels on a number of harbourside buildings are for the first time joining the multi-media show, displaying images and messages to encourage audience participation.
The show is complemented by music from Asia's leading classical orchestra the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, providing visitors with a thrilling and unforgettable sound-and-light experience. The 10-minute show begins at 8pm every evening.
Immediately after A Symphony of Lights, the winter version of Hong Kong Pulse Light Show begins at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Spectators can view it from the Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza. The 3D projection show begins with a snowstorm which covers the Hong Kong Cultural Centre in snow and ice and blows away the numbers on the Clock Tower, stopping time just before Christmas arrives.
An ingenious dragon then sets out to find the missing numbers which are scattered across Hong Kong landmarks. The dragon eventually finds them and restarts time to save Christmas. During the show, the piazza is decorated with snowing effect along with glowing LED balls and a giant crystal ball. The 8-minute performance runs from 1st to 28th December 2017.

A Symphony of Lights in Hong Kong - Kowloon Version(20191214)
Gateway- Harbour City, a new row of searchlights was reinstalled, and the LED lights that had been damaged and could not make the lighting effect, a small part has been repaired.
Although the Avenue of Stars has not been re-incorporated into the performance building, the simple yellow light installation on the waterfront of the Avenue of Stars will also flash during the performance(system just like Hotel Panorama by Rhombus)
