Unbelievable video shows passengers flying as truck crashes through bus in Syracuse
A pickup truck struck a Centro bus in Syracuse Jan. 19, 2017, lodging itself in the bus and injuring multiple people.
Video surveillance from the bus shows the truck crashing through the side of the bus and throwing a passenger forward. Centro released the surveillance footage after Syracuse.com | The Post-Standard filed a Freedom of Information Law request.
Neil Brownell, the driver of the pickup truck, exited Interstate 81 north at Park Street around 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, said the Syracuse Police Department.
Brownell then swerved into the left lane to avoid traffic near the end of the ramp, police said. The truck drove off the road and crashed into a Centro bus that was stopped on Park Street at the Farmers Market Place traffic light.
Police said several passengers were treated for minor injuries. The bus driver, Daphne Ross-Powell, 54, of Syracuse, was treated at Crouse Hospital for chest pain.
The pickup driver, Brownell, 82, of West Monroe, was not injured, police said. His wife, Jerrie Brownell, 75, of West Monroe, a passenger in his truck, was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center for chest pain.
No tickets were immediately issued after the crash.

Syracuse vs. Georgetown Basketball Highlights (2015-16)
Syracuse vs. Georgetown: #14 Cuse lost on the road to their traditional rivals the Hoyas, 79-72. The Orange went into battle without Jim Boeheim, who began his 9-game suspension, so assistant coach Mike Hopkins took the helm. Michael Gbinije had 23 points but it wouldn't be enough as the Orange would fall.

The Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) is a collegiate athletic conference in the United States in which its fifteen member universities compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA's) Division I, with its football teams competing in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), the highest levels for athletic competition in US-based collegiate sports. The ACC sponsors competition in twenty-five sports with many of its member institutions' athletic programs held in high regard nationally. ACC teams and athletes have claimed dozens of national championships in multiple sports throughout the conference's history. Generally, the ACC's top athletes and teams in any particular sport in a given year are considered to be among the top collegiate competitors in the nation. The ACC is considered to be one of the six collegiate power conferences, all of which enjoy extensive media coverage and automatic qualifying for their football champion into the Bowl Championship Series (BCS). With the advent of the College Football Playoff in 2014, the ACC will be one of five conferences with a contractual tie-in to an access bowl, the successors to the BCS.
Founded in 1953 in Greensboro, North Carolina, by seven universities located in the South Atlantic States, the conference added additional members in late 1953, 1979, 1991, 2004, and 2013. The 2004 and 2013 additions extended the conference's footprint into the Northeast and Midwest. The most recent expansion in 2013 saw the additions of the University of Notre Dame, the University of Pittsburgh, and Syracuse University. In 2012, the University of Maryland's Board of Regents voted to withdraw from the ACC to join the Big Ten Conference. On November 28, 2012, the ACC's Council of Presidents voted unanimously to invite the University of Louisville as a full member, replacing Maryland.

okay TD and Iverson are both on it and you know what they give you. quality minutes and numbers.
the 2003 roster had very good shooters in Ray Allen, Vince Carter, and Mike Bibby. they USA roster also had tremendous ability to break down the zone defense by dribble penetration by Vince Carter, Tmac, and to a lesser extent RJ and Martin.
you also had the unwavering floor general who at the time back in 03 was the consensus #1 PG in the NBA Jason Kidd.
At the time, ELton Brand and Nick Collison were not all stars, but Elton Brand was already playing at a high level and Collison gives you hustle, boards, and blocks.
now look at the 2004 roster:
Stephon Marbury?
Emeka Okafor? unproven college big man wiht a bad back?
Carlos Boozer?
the current tri captains were very talented in their first year and LB may not have used them enough, but you have to understand that these three players have since grown incredibly in the two years since the 04 debacle.
Marion and Stoudemire are the solid wing players on the Suns tema.. which at the time had not began playing with steve nash yet.. but they are so dynamic that they had trouble adjusting to LB's system.
and no shooters? tsk tsk
disregard what the media and ESPN said, the 04 Olympics WAS a B-list roster.
Notorious Prisons E03 Auburn Prison Documentary
The State Penitentiary in Auburn, New York is the centerpiece of a city and a monument to one of America's first attempts at criminal rehabilitation. Its founders were liberal prison reformers who believed their task could be accomplished through penitence, hard work, and silence. The Auburn System was adopted by most U.S. prisons in the early 1900s. Now, all that remains of that system is hard work--and hard time--for the most violent offenders in New York State.
Syracuse vs. Texas A&M Basketball Highlights (2015-16)

Iowa's 8-play goal line stand against Syracuse in 2OT
The broken punctuation of the official final scoring summary maybe tells it the best. Unadorned and official, it goes straight to the heart of the eight-play goal line stand that saved the Iowa Hawkeyes' 20-13 double-overtime victory last season at Syracuse. This video was compiled by The Cedar Rapids Gazette courtesy of Iowa Hawkeye football.
