Official Licensee of the Bermuda Championships on the PGA Tour
TABS (The Authentic Bermuda Shorts) is excited to have been selected as a licensee of the Bermuda Championship golf tournament being held at Port Royal Golf Course from October 31st to November 3rd.
Earlier this year, TABS released their new performance line of sell-out polo shirts and Bermuda shorts. For the tournament, they have created limited edition colours embroidered with the event’s logo. The ‘Ferrari of fabrics’ the products boast moisture-wicking and UV protection.
The Bermuda Championship marks the first PGA Tour event to be held in Bermuda and will provide the opportunity for local golfers to compete for a chance to win one of three spots.
On TABS’ involvement, Sean Sovacool, tournament director says: “We are pleased to have TABS as a licensee of the Bermuda Championship. Since day one, it has been our goal to align the event with a variety of businesses on island while focusing our search on companies that are truly authentic and born from this great culture. Rebecca and her team are a perfect match.”
With the America’s Cup, ITU World Triathlon events, and the arrival of the Bermuda Championship, Bermuda has proven its ability to host large-scale sporting events on the international stage and to show the world we are more than a picturesque vacation getaway.
TABS items can be purchased at the TABS Flagship store at 12 Reid Street, Hamilton or ordered online at tabsbermuda.com. The limited edition event polo shirts will also be available at the Port Royal Golf Course during the event. There will only be a limited number embroidered so interested parties are encouraged to PRE ORDER before Friday, 18th Oct for guaranteed delivery before the event.
Bermuda Fashion Inspiration: Rebecca Hanson & Bermuda Shorts
Born and bred Bermudian Rebecca Hanson has taken the island’s iconic article of clothing, Bermuda shorts, and given them a colorful, contemporary makeover at her company TABS (the Authentic Bermuda Shorts). gotobermuda.com
Once you have your own pair, you may wonder where to show off your purchase as you head in search of Proper Fun on the island. In this video, Rebecca gives her tips for “proper fun” on Bermuda. Her favorite thing about the island is the “no filter” hashtag popular on Instagram. “You just don’t need a filter!” she says. “You wake up every morning and you say I’ve gotta do something with these colours.” She callsthe historic Town of St. George – a UNESCO Heritage Site – a “must-see. You’ve got to go there.” Rebecca always looks forward to Rugby Week in November, with its social, party-like atmosphere. For drinks, she recommends 1609, a gorgeous bar overlooking Hamilton Harbour. Her cocktail of choice is the Island Storm, a refreshing mix made with Bermuda’s own Gosling’s Black Seal Rum. Her favorite sushi restaurant is Pearl. “The sushi in Bermuda is just amazing,” Rebecca says. “It’s so fresh.” She also recommends The Swizzle Inn, Portofino and the Pickled Onion as fun spots to eat, drink and be merry. “Even when it’s winter, you can still taste summer,” Rebecca says.

Installing a Stabilizer Fin on an Outboard Motor | Sailing Britican
Learn how to install outboard stabilizer fins to your outboard motor. Why? Stabilizer fins increase stability, allow for better gas mileage (average of 40%), help the dinghy to quickly plane at lower RPM, increase top-end speed and keep the bow lower at all speeds.

More about the concept of Travel by Dart that I proudly made public:
I am usually doing this with my friend Matt for a show called Travel by Dart, but I also do it myself as lifestyle.
This first dart hit Svalbard, an archipelago close to the North Pole, where they went for three weeks during Christmas and New Year. Inspiration travel.
After that we went to many other locations, such as Russia, Easter Island, Indonesia, etc. Here are the stories:
Svalbard/North Pole episode:
Russia episode:
Easter Island episode:
Indonesia episode:
Travel by Dart is a series that combines adventure travel, reality TV and philanthropy. Each episode two friends throw a dart a the worlds map and travel wherever it lands, no matter the remoteness, cost or difficulty.
Covering every continent on the globe, from the sands of Oman to the most remote islands of Polynesia (and beyond), over 12 episodes they uncover the history, cuisine and richness of culture that connects the world together, while seeking one distinct and outside-the-box way to bring help or positive change to the people or the land they visit.
With the goal of seeking to find the common bond of friendship and kindred love that ties the world together, every trip is fuelled entirely from their own resourcefulness.
Here is our official trailer:
With no fancy television studios, production companies or financial help, they film their entire journey step-by- step from beginning to end, proving that travelling to every continent on the globe, living your wildest dreams and getting past the challenges of the mundane work-life is entirely possible if you put your mind to it. Do you have what it takes to travel by dart?

Bermuda 2019 | Cinematic Film | Bucketlistbinge
Bermuda is only a few hours from Boston and given its proximity, we definitely underestimated its beauty! We traveled to Bermuda in April, which is just the beginning of their tourism season. The island was perfectly quiet and open for exploring. The people are equally beautiful and welcoming! The highlight had to be jet skiing on crystal clear waters out to the Vixen shipwreck for some incredible drone shots. As always, we wish we had more time!

The Walking Mirror (Bermuda Triangle appearance scenarios)
Typical adventures in the land of the Bermuda Triangle. Random stones point the way through the granite passage to the tempest moon as it travels ancient Spanish cobblestones before the advancing ambulant mirror. Harmonica by me, Paul. Slowed and reversed, the door opens while shut. The shined angled granite opes traversed by camera and time. Slomo. Tourists pass oblivious as the portal looms apparent past the stones, though appearing shut.
-- This video is 3-D capable. Just click the change quality feature at the bottom of the video frame (the gear icon), then click the 3D icon when it appears to get the setting that matches your glasses. No glasses? Click on the no glasses link and then look at the 2 images in the video cross-eyed until a 3rd appears in the center.
-- Seriously. If you look for them, they are here, on the other side of Atlantis. The Sargassian side.
-- The music for the video is my melody Fortress Dawn Two. Though it sounds it, this isn't conventional music, but rather more random; thus making it Natural Music, though more approaching that threshold rather than being there, spot on, as it were.
