Rivalled by only some tracks on the European Continent , the TGRV Circuit is set on the floor of the scenic Rift Valley. The 1.2km track is an international standard facility that can challenge any other worldwide in terms of design, technicatilies and driveability. The track has 5 hairpins, a deceptive loop and a crazy 260m straight!
Can you tame the tight notorious Razor or will you be mocked by the deceptive Loki Loop, perhaps you would like to max out the Sodi GT4 on the 180m Senna startight! The challenge is now on!

Kenya National Karting Championship - Round 2, 2016
The Great Rift Valley Circuit hosted the 2nd round of the Kenya National Karting Championship. Organized by the Sikh Union Club, 21 competitors set out to battle for various championships contested in the day.

From the thrilling feel of the speed to the crazy turns, I definitely had to take it to the tracks and show you how I can bring it. This time I get to show you that you don't need to go far away from the city of Nairobi to have some fun as we hit the tracks at the GP Karting Track in Langata, Nairobi.

During my Christmas holiday, my family and I went on a vacation in Nairobi, Kenya. We had a great time especially at the Maasai Mara. We saw the big five. We also went gokarting. My uncle Kevin recorded the whole race.

TGRV track day
This is TGRV go-cart track near the town of Mai Mahiu in Kenya, about 50 km from Nairobi. It's a track day organized by the Superbike Championship ( The SJ4000 cam is mounted on the handle bar, with lots of vibrations. I am on a stock UM180 Xstreet R. The main limitations of riding on the track are the stock tires and front brake fading a bit at the end of main straight. Nevertheless, it's a great practice from riding on the track and you learn a lot; braking point, line thru the corner, optimal gear to use at each corner, body position, looking ahead in the turn, etc. Obviously I have lots of room to improve my riding on this track.

Sahib Omar and Kunal Patel were crowned Kenya National Autocross championship victors as this year’s season came to a dramatic end at the Mombasa Cement Factory racetrack in Kilifi County. Meanwhile, Team Sim-U-Nation once again dominated proceedings, as the second leg of The GP Karting Championship was held over the weekend at The Great Rift Valley (TGRV) Circuit in Mai Mahiu.

Go Karting:Nzomo wins 5th round iin 60cc category
11 – year old Amani Nzomo from BrookHouse School in Nairobi gave his father a perfect Father’s Day gift when he won the 60 cc race during the fifth round of the Go karting competition held at the Rift valley Motors and Sports Club, Nakuru. Nzomo who is in Year six cruised to victory and chalked up 100 points to stamp his authority in the 12 lap race that attracted a total of 14 drivers. But it was not an easy race as the determined Nzomo had to shrug off stiff competition from other top drivers including Kinyanjui Kamau who had 81 points ahead of Zoravar Dadhley who finished with 76 points with Kim brothers William and Albert finishing in that order with 73 and 63 points respectively.
