Top Dive has scuba diving centers on 6 different islands throughout French Polynesia, where the brand is synonymous with professionalism, safety, and great diving experience.
On Bora Bora, Top Dive has not one, but three dive centers :
In Vaitape, facing the only pass called Te Ava Nui, the dive center is ideally located for easy access to the exceptional ocean sites around the island.
Located within the InterContinental Resort Hotel, Top Dive's new dive center offers a level of comfort worthy of this 5 star hotel. This center is perfectly situated for exploring the lagoon, or to go for special manta ray or shark dives on the outskirts of the lagoon.
The third center is at the Pearl Beach Resort & Spa Hotel, from where all dive sites are accessible.
The Top Dive concept
The Top Dive motto is comfort, service & safety, which means your whole diving experience is a pleasurable moment.
Comfort means hot showers, changing rooms, no carrying of tanks, and many more pleasant details.
In terms of service, the dive centers are open 7/7, all year round, with a shop where you can purchase equipment and merchandise. Top Dive uses only new, state-of-the-art equipment and boats.
For your safety, Top Dive provides free Nitrox, dive computers, and puts at your disposal a crew of professional instructors and skippers.
Practical Information
Free pick-up : by van from all hotels and guest-houses on the main island, and by boat from all hotels on the motu (islets).
Dive schedule : Everyday at 8 am, two fun dives, and at 2 pm, one exploration, introductory or certification dive. Night dive every Wednesday night.
Top Dive offers the following certifications : FFESSM/CMAS - PADI - ANMP/CEDIP
A range of special dives is also available, with shark dives, Manta ray dives, Nitrox dives, night dives and private dives.
And to make the whole experience utterly unforgettable, Top Dive offers a HD video service with a professional underwater videographer, to record your best diving moments.
Dive sites
Bora Bora has one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world, and an amazing concentration and variety of underwater fauna. Top Dive offers more than a dozen dive sites, which means you discover new wonders with every dive.
The astonishing variety of landscapes include coral plateaus, vertiginous walls, craters, sand banks, grottos and canyons, marine flora, and of course, the deep blue.
On any given dive, apart from the myriad tropical fish, you are likely to come across jacks, tunas, barracudas, turtles, eagle rays, sting rays, and majestic Manta rays. Not to mention the stars of the show, blacktip, whitetip, grey, and lemon sharks.
Between July and November, humpback whales come to swim in the quiet waters around the island, and can be easily approached.

Rangiroa - French Polynesia
Rangiroa, is the largest atoll in the Tuamotus, and one of the largest in the world (although it is smaller than Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands and Huvadhu in the Maldives). It is part of the Palliser group. The nearest atoll is Tikehau, located only 12 km to the West. It is about 355 km Northeast of Tahiti.
The chief town is Avatoru, located in the northwestern part of the atoll. ( source Wikipedia )
Best Bora Bora Snorkeling
The best Bora Bora snorkeling offers amazing biodiversity and scattered coral head formations. Located northwest of Tahiti in French Polynesia, the snorkeling in Bora Bora is well-known for it calm conditions. The main island of Bora Bora is surrounded offshore by an atoll barrier reef. Inside the barrier reef, the lagoon offers very calm water which is habitat to hundreds of species of colorful tropical reef fish among the a few healthy, but scattered, patch reefs. The top Bora Bora snorkeling dive spots are The Aquarium, Tapu, Teavanui Pass, and the shark/ray feeding zone.
