Flooding in Carrollton, Texas Memorial Day Weekend 2015
IH-35E, between IH-635 and U.S. 380, has been named by the TxDOT as one of its 100 busiest roadways. The heavy rains across Texas throughout May could cover the entire state nearly eight inches deep, or fill over 35 trillion gallons, according to the National Weather Service. This is a video from Frankford turning onto the service road of I35. This once tiny pond which has become a flowing river is 12 inches from hitting the bottom of IH-35E. This was taken on May 30, 2015 after the storm that morning in Carrollton, Texas. Little did we know we had another torrential rain storm hit again the next day.
