Taal Volcano Hiking Guide (Cinematic Vlog)
One Sunday, a friend and I went on a short hike to Taal Volcano which is the smallest active volcano in the world. Taal Volcano is in Talisay, Batangas (2 hours from the South of Manila). The hike is recommended for beginner hikers which will take only about an hour going up and less than 30 minutes going down. Here's a step by step guide in hiking the smallest active volcano in the world - Tagaytay Volcano.

Taal Island Crater Lake Talisay Philippines
The owner of San Roque Paradise Resort organised for her son to take us in his bangka to the Taal Lake Island for a pleasant early morning climb before it gets too hot up to the top of the ridge for splendid views over the crater lake inside the island. It was a truly wonderful experience and definitely well worth the adventure.

Taal Volcano is a complex volcano located on the island of Luzon in the Philippines ,it is the second most active in the Philippines with #33 historical eruptions .all of these eruptions are concentrated on volcano island an island near the middle of taal lake.
Philippines - Closer look at Taal Volcano (Talisay Batangas)
From a closer view, you can see a nice and clear sight of pulo Taal island. I went to Talisay and got this on video. The people of Talisay live their day primarily on fishing, many resorts operate there, offering boat rides to Taal island for almost 1,500 pesos. The water is a little dirty but acording to locals, clear waters can be fond at the middle of taal island. There were many fish pens also.

Minute-Montage: The TAAL VOLCANO TOUR, Talisay Batangas - A Visual Vibes (Travel) Vlog
As a joint celebration with two of my closest friends, Karl Loresca and Niko Malacad, we decided to try something new rather than our usual guy's night out. Though our other friends couldn't make it, we opted to do the well-known Taal Volcano Tour in Talisay Batangas.
We started off with a roadtrip from Los Banos, all the way to Talisay, where the boat station along Taal Lake was. After a 20-30 min boat ride, we were greeted by a man who took our photo on an SLR before we got off the boat. They print your pictures, laid out with a frame which you can get for P350, with the soft copy for free. We paid the Taal tourist fee and decided to go ahead without a guide, since the trail is pretty straight-forward. The hike was about 45 mins-1 hour with 14 stations to guide your way. Once you reach the end, they sell souvenirs and offer additional activities like the red lava entrance and golfing.
Another first-time for me and a check off the bucket list of exploring a volcano! It was a killer hike for me because I'm not as fit as I was before, plus the steaming heat from the active volcano grounds, but it's definitely worth it in the end once you make it to the top!
We recommend you try it too, so here's some things to take note:
Boat ride - P1,500 (apparently it's negotiable; max of 6 people)
Taal Tourist Fee - P100
Tour Guide - P500 (optional)
Horse ride - P500 (optional)
Red Lava Entrance - P50
Golf Balls - P50
*Bring lots of water, tissue/wet-wipes, handkerchief and extra clothes. I probably would've died from heat stroke if I didn't bring a lot of water. Though they do offer drinks and other things you may need for the hike, they are quite pricey, so I suggest you bring your own stuff. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Taal Volcano Lake, San Roque Resort Philippines
San Roque Paradise Resort is a lovely filopino style ex family home converted to a resort by the owner who has lived there for a great deal of her life. It is situated at the edge of beautiful Taal Lake Caldera in Talisay Philippines where bangkas can take resort guests across the lake to make the small climb up the side of the island in the middle of the caldera to a view of another lake inside a crater which also has a small island in the middle of the lake.
Excellent home cooked meals provide added comfort for guests at very reasonable prices. An excellent place to stay for trips to the island across the lake.
