Where did Chinese table tennis star Ma Long learn his silky skills?

China Focus found in the famous historical and cultural county of Zhengding, Hebei province, the National Table Tennis Training Base AKA the China Table Tennis Association International Training Center.

This base has over the last 16 years produced dozens of world champions and Olympic gold winners, such as Ma Long, although it had much humbler beginnings when the base was only used to train a primary school table tennis team!

The base now teaches a mixture of Chinese and international students who are all hoping to become future Olympic champions.

One such hopeful, seven-year-old Daria Tailakova from Russia, came all the way to China to follow in her sisters footsteps and secure her dream, gold at the Olympics.

I played in the division 2B and I got slaughtered. My final record was 2-11.

Spending New Year's Holiday in Shijiazhuang + Sea foods in Zhengding 2019

It was such a blast spending my New Year's holiday in Shijiazhuang with my friends from my hometown - Baguio City, Philippines. I only had a 3-day holiday so I made sure to it not to waste my time just sleeping.
