Come along with us as we ride 11 miles northwest from Papeete to the island of Moorea on the Terevau Ferry. We go for a day trip and cruise around the entire island in a electric car from Avis (E-Moke). We do some sightseeing and eat an epic lunch including COCONUT CRAB!! Then we ride the Aremiti Ferry 2 back to Papeete and head up the mountain to Pamatai Hills. Maya is sick on the final day of this French Polynesia trip, so we stay close to home and relax by the pool. Once at the airport, we stop by the Air Tahiti Nui Lounge before our overnight flight back to Hawaii on Hawaiian Airlines. Thank you so much for watching!

2 Weeks in Paradise: Tahiti, Bora Bora and Moorea in 4K
We had an amazing 2 weeks during our vacation / honeymoon in French Polynesia: we went to Tahiti, Bora Bora, and Moorea. This paradise had some of the best snorkeling we've ever experienced; this might be one of the best places in the world to snorkel. We saw so many varieties of fish, sharks, sting rays, octopuses, manta rays, moray eels, corals, and more. On land, the beaches and scenery were breathtaking. The islands were filled with beautiful sandy beaches everywhere. The jungle was also so lush, and did not have dangerous animals. And the over water bungalows at the hotels were amazing!

Heute Nachmittag fahren wir mit meiner Freunden zu einer Walbeobachtung und ich freue mich schon riesig darauf.
Heute haben wir hoffentlich die einmalige Chance, die Wale, die zum gebären hier nach French Polynesian kommen und dann noch 3 Monate bleiben um die Jungen aufzuziehen bevor es dann wieder weiter in den großen, weiten Pazifik geht.
In dieser Zeit ist auch ein französisches Fernsehteam anwesend und wir werden von Ihnen zu einem Interview eingeladen.
Zuerst fahren wir in den Süden von Tahiti und danach Richtung Moorea. In den ersten 3 Stunden haben wir Delphine, aber leider keine Wale gesehen.
Aber dann hat sich mein Traum erfüllt denn plötzlich haben wir eine Wal-schule gesichtet und wir durften mit Flossen und Brille ins Wasser um mit diesen großen, herrlichen Tieren mit ihren Jungen zu schwimmen. Diesen unglaubliche Gefühl werde ich nie mehr vergessen.

24 HOURS IN TAHITI - IS IT WORTH IT?
Is Tahiti a destination worth exploring?
Wanting to make the most out of our very last day in French Polynesia, we decided to rent a car from the airport and explore the island of Tahiti!
Accommodation:
We stayed at Fare Nukumai, an affordable local pension and I'd recommend it:
Food:
We had an amazing dinner at Lani's BBQ - portion was huge and taste was great!
Car Rental:
We rented a small car from Tahiti Easy Car, which cost about $85. I'd recommend renting a 4x4 instead, so you can get to the cool spots.
With just a few hours, we went to Maraa Grotto, which is beautiful and accessible. However, it was completely blocked! We drove to Teahupo’o, one of the world's most famous surf breaks, before backing track to Faarumai waterfall, which is free to visit and not much of a deviation from the route. They look best after rainfall. Our final stop was Papenoo Valley, where most people would book a 4 x 4 tour to see, as it’s not possible to get very far unless you have a 4 x 4 vehicle.

From the verdant crags of Tahiti to the teeming reefs of Fiji, embark on a sweeping voyage to the western reaches of Polynesia, encountering tropical islands and reefs that few others will ever see.
Tahiti & Mo'orea Scenic Island Drive Tour
You can circle the full island of Tahiti by car in one day. You'll pass by beaches, waterfalls, lookouts and roundabouts. The Tahitian maps are not very detailed, but island life is slow so you can take your time :)
The famous surf spot of Teahupo'o will NOT have many food options around between 2 - 5 pm. The whole island seems to shut down during this time (only small markets are open).
We asked our hotel concierge to help us coordinate the rental car from Pacific Rental (French speaking company) which we arranged before even landing in Tahiti.
Shoutout to Jahboy, Conkarah & Sammielz for being on the radio with Good Vibes. It was awesome hearing this song playing in Tahiti, since it was also huge in Hawai'i at the time :)
