STORYLINE:
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak in Egypt on Saturday.
He later addressed Arab League members at their headquarters in the capital.
Wen's visit comes ahead of a two-day summit in the resort city of Sharm El Sheikh.
Talks start on Sunday and are expected to concentrate on trade agreements between China and Africa.
Chinese investments in Africa totalled 7.8 billion (b) US dollars last year, according to the state-run China Daily
newspaper.
But the Asian giant has been accused of ignoring human rights in its pursuit of the continent's natural resources.
