Bagaimana menuju ke Taipei Aowanda? Naik MRT Taipei dan turun di Stasiun Shilin. Tunggu Bus 303 di depan MRT Shilin dan turun di halte Xia guo xi (下 過 溪) . Gerbang Taipei Maple Resort berjarak 230 meter dari halte bus.

The second stop of our recent trip to Nantou County was Shuili, where we visited the Shuili Snake Kiln and had dinner at a meat ball and a duck meat restaurant. The Snake Kiln is a very interesting place and worth recommending. You can learn a few things about pottery, do some pottery DIY, have a coffee, and by souvenirs.

Aowanda & Qingjing Farm Trip
We always want to try the experience for staying in Camper van, we got one at Qingjing Farm, Nantou Taiwan. So we decided to stay there for 1 night only, and... we actually love the place so much.
As my friend says, Qing Jing are so green, fresh air and the sheep :). Here's our short trip to Aowanda National Park and Qing Jing Farm.

Taiwan could see 1-2 intense storms in autumn: CWB
This July and August brought no fewer than 14 tropical storms, and they were capped off this week by devastating rains in Southern Taiwan. As the seasons change, many are wondering what the skies have in store. The Central Weather Bureau warned today that typhoon season isn''t over yet. This autumn is expected to bring storms more powerful than the ones seen so far, and they have a higher chance of making landfall.Consecutive days of heavy rain in south-central Taiwan have made August Kaohsiung’s wettest month on record. Not only has Taiwan been hit by a deluge of rain, it’s also seen more than a few tropical storms. Fourteen storms have formed over July and August, tying the historic record. Today the CWB issued its predictions for the upcoming season. Lu Kuo-chenForecasterAfter September, the atmospheric circulation in Taiwan’s vicinity will largely consist of easterly and southerly winds. During this time, the windward side will predominately be Eastern Taiwan. The west and southwest will be comparatively leeward, which means they’ll enter the so-called dry season.The bureau predicts that this autumn, rainfall will be moderate to sparse, and temperatures will range from normal to slightly high. There’s a chance of up to two tropical storms making landfall.Lu Kuo-chenForecasterAs for the climate, there may be one or two typhoons on the horizon that affect Taiwan’s weather. As we enter the fall season, the path typhoons take will drift southward. That’s in comparison to the summer storms. Should tropical storms form in the fall, they will go west along high-pressure systems in the Pacific and affect Taiwan.The bureau warns that autumn storms tend to be fierce, saying they can strengthen to typhoons or storms of an even greater intensity. They could also combine with northeast monsoons to bring even stronger effects to Taiwan.
