700 years old preserved Mummy found in China in 2011

In 2011 while expanding a road (street) in Taizhou city of province Jiangsu in eastern China the road workers accidentally (by chance) found a well preserved Mummy (Woman) around 2 meters under the ground. The Mummy was preserved in a wooden tomb which was filled with some brown liquid which may be the reason that the Mummy was in excellent condition while find or the liquid can be accidental too according to the experts.
The mummy was wearing traditional Ming dynasty costume, and also in the coffin were bones, ceramics, ancient writings and other relics.
The woman, believed to be a high-ranking member of the Ming Dynasty in China, has been almost perfectly preserved. Even her eyelashes are still intact.
1. The box
While working on a road project, workers found this mysterious box about six feet below ground.
2. A tomb
After some study, they realized that it wasn't just a box, but a tomb.
3. Archaeologists
The workers quickly called in a team of archaeologists to open the coffin.
4. Opening the box
Working carefully, they opened the box without disturbing any of the contents.
5. Inside
Inside, they found the body of a mummy, almost perfectly preserved.
6. Age
They determined that it was the body of a woman, and she was more than 700 years old.
7. Jewelry
Based on her jewelry and the careful preservation of her body, she was determined to be a prominent member of the Ming Dynasty.
8. Condition
The body was in such good condition that the team was able to easily remove it from the tomb.
9. Fabric
Incredibly, most of the fabric was even intact around her.
10. Raised: The group of archaeologists, from the Museum of Taizhou, are shown lifting the corpse out of the coffins to examine their find

Oh mother! The woman, discovered two metres below the surface in a wooden tomb, was wearing a Ming Dynasty dress and is thought to have been at a high-ranking level

Even more incredible, her facial features, including her eyebrows were still intact, as well.
13. Shoes
Even her shoes were in remarkable condition.
14. Future
Due to her exceptional preservation, this discovery will be a great study and many things can potentially be learned about the period's culture, as well as this woman in particular.

100 Year old Christian - Miss Chen in Taizhou, China
In 1907, pearl Buck's father Absalom set out from Zhenjiang to taizhou on a donkey 50 miles to convert Chinese to Christianity. Each time when he reached taizhou, he was evicted from teh city and forced to sleep outside the city wall. Growing weary, he reached out to Standard oil Company (like all good Christians) in Zhenjiang, their distributor in Taizhou was Mr Chi'u, each time Dr. Sai went to taizhou he dropped in on the oil man, but not for petroleum. Eventually, he became the first Christian in all of Taizhou.
His whole family soon became Christian, his grandaughter. Miss Chen included, she went on to be head nurse at the Sarah WalkUp Hospital too, funded bythe Belk brothers.
My grandfather. Thomas Lyt Harnsberger took over for Absalom Sydenstricker as the Presbyterian Missionary in Taizhou, and in 2001, his sonns returned to taizhou. In their old photo albums were pictures of Msis Chen:
I am still here she said, they are all gone. My father and his brother held her hands, and we took Miss Chen to dinner.
In 2010, Aug 8th, i retunred to taizhou to find Miss Chen still alive and smiling, and i gave her a photo of herself as a 12 year old girl, with teh first Christian in Taizhou.
