遠浅の海で、潮が干いている時は何百メートルもの広い砂浜になります。
砂浜の潮が引いた後につく波の模様は見ていて飽きません。
隣の高浜とは山をはさんでつながっており、海の家からは魚藍観音像を臨めます。
また、遠浅のため安全で家族向けの海水浴場として親しまれています。
秋、冬の景色は夏とは違った雰囲気で静かで癒される風景となっております。

Shiroyama Beach at Takahama
This is from July 16th and I am only getting around to uploading it now (Aug 2 2012).
Joy and I went to a nearby beach in Fukui Prefecture. The train station we went to was Wakasa Takahama, and the beach is Shiroyama Beach. We went on Marine Day which is a Japanese national holiday, and a day many Japanese people go to the beach.
